Where is Nintendo?
No matter what Nintendo does they'll never be in the same douche league as EA or Activision.

OT: My vote goes to EA. I mean c'mon guys aren't we a little above childish name calling? How old are you? 12?

You see what EA just did with Origin, they can take any info from your comp if you agree to the terms when getting it. And you can't delete it off your computer, they'll still have access. You'd have to wipe everything to get rid of it, probably. Ya it's in the fine print there, but who reads that. Something like that needs to be right out in the obvious, such as a second box you need to check off saying that bit. Pretty shady of EA eh?

I voted Gamestop over the outright and admitted theft of the OnLive codes in Deus Ex. It's no business of theirs who pays the developer for advertising.

Overall though, it would be EA. Activision is bad, but it's Bobby Kotick that's skewing them that way, they were perfectly fine before he took over.

at the moment I'm going with EA cause at least Activision and even Nintendo haven't gone as far as to install spyware on your computer, which you automatically agree to let them do just by installing their DD platform.
In consideration of Kotick, I believe it's only a matter of time before Activision falls in line behind EA's Origin. It's only a matter of time...

I say that EA and Activision are tied. On one hand there is EA with the big brother system like it's 1984 and on the other hand there's Kotick who proudly admitted to running his company like a sweatshop.

Both companies put out decent games but at what cost?

Reeeeeeaaaaly tough, but in the end, it had to be EA. Not only have they ALMOST made me not decide to buy BF3 with this Origin bullshit, they've also run more than a few successful franchises into the ground, like System Shock and Mercenaries.

Activision has made some bush-league moves, but EA's history is just to much.

Hey, at least they gave me BF2!

I used to think that Activision had the monopoly on evil, overbearing intrusiveness.

Then I read the T&C for Origin.

This kind of stupidity has its own circle of hell, reserved for child molesters and people who talk in the theatre.

Normally I'd be inclined to say Activision because its the easy answer. Blizzard also, but I guess its lumped in with Activision now. Of course, I am not interested in any Activision published games, so in the end, who cares.
However EA is starting to really get on my nerves with all this Origins stuff because I am actually interested in some upcoming games for them. Battlefield 3 and Mass Effect 3. In the end however, most major companies tend to suck once they turn into corporate giants.

Pretty much EA right now for the Origin thing, this is one of the reasons why I stay the frak away from PC gaming. True you can say now that most consoles are like mini PC's which is true but atleast they can't get into my porn stash and look around... or um anyone else important I might have on there.

Nice Firefly reference there Phantomess. :D

Every company is guilty of doing something very stupid at times but right now this is the dumbest that I've heard of.

As bad as Activision, EA and Capcom are, at least they don't steal game concepts from communities who are too generous to copyright them.

So, I'm afraid I'm going to have to say Valve.

Companies are just trying to profit, so I don't blame them for their dealings, afeter all, if I was head of a game company I probably wouldn't do much different.

The biggest 'douches' are the players.

The ones who hate on noobs.
The noobs who feel like abusing mics and spamming messages.
The players who look down on those who just want to have fun and don't care about 'winning'.
The ones who complain about companies and their games, though they probably have more than their fair share of those titles in their game libraries.

In the end, I believe the players are the biggest 'douches'.

However we should try to understand not only the compnaies but each other. MMO players need to stop hating on noobs.

And noobs should learn some courtesy at the very least so ask the community for help.

EA for three of my dearest companies as a child murdered by their hands, firstly westwood, an amazing publisher of stadegy games, maxis for taking them away from creating amazing sims, such as simcity and forcing them to remake the failed project of spore, when everyone gave up on that years ago. But the company EA has been the biggest ass to is bullfrog, bullfrog were the king of simulation games (duegon keeper) and had that great art style that still looks good today, even though the company when down the pan 10 years ago. They were an amazing UK company bullied by EA to close, to which all the employees went to lionhead and made fable fucking 4 times, even after producing some better games.

For me, this award goes to Blizzard, EA, and Ubisoft. I made a thread about the reasons why they piss me off, and I don't think it all needs repeating. Mainly for these things:
- Always-on requirement for single player games (Ubisoft for starting this, EA and Blizzard for implementing and thinking they can get away with it)
- EA/Origin for their (lack of) privacy terms of service
- EA/Origin for stating that PC version of BF3 will be the best, yet removing key features from it
- Pretty much the whole PC gaming industry for removing LAN capabilities in games, but that seems only to be a pet hate of minorities like me =(

EA and Activision are actually both up front, wanking each other off.

But I voted for Gamestop. Why? Because they not only screw their customers over, they also screw the industry. Far more than any pirate ever will.
They're basically parasites, leeching money off of both gamer and dev.

I wanted to say Duke Nukem. Then maybe Marcus Fenix. But I'm going to have to go with EA.

I've hated them from years ago (Megadrive era), then for a brief period I kind of liked them and thought they'd learned their lesson and finally started to make some good games after years of money grabbing, ripping people off, infinite sequels and half-assed movie tie-ins. But then C&C 4 and some other half-assed cash-ins and it turns out I was wrong.

Considering Capcom has to release what seems like four versions of every fighting game they make I'm going to go with them.
