Its to close a tie between EA and Activision to make a call.
Im gunna go with, "theyre both douches, whom we all should hate, because the bad they do will NEVER out weight the good."
My thoughts on this exactly. Also, /cock eyebrow at EA winning over 'Activation'.

title says it all i feel activation are still the biggest the douches with the Infinity ward mess and all that and pretty much all of their earlier statements
That word. I don't think it means what you think it means.

To the poll, I think they're all douches in their own special way. No one douche outdouches the other douches.

Although, I'd still vote for Fox News.
Well, they arn't "in" the industry, >_< but they did talk shit about it!

I say Fox News, and the assholes playing online that seem to be trying to prove Fox right.

Valve for making me submit to Steam in order to play games I'd already legally and fully purchased. People are going on about Origin at the moment, but Steam started it, people! Sure, Steam is less intrusive than Origin, but it's still intrusive. If you get mugged it doesn't matter much much you get mugged, just that you get mugged.

Although EA does get a dishonourable mention for buying out and killing Bullfrog.

David Cage.

OP seems to have listed companies, which are run by groups of douches - Not a single Douche.

The biggest *singular* douche, is David Cage. Seriously.

Osidian, for making new vegas

it was linear, laggy and boring, unlike fallout 3 and im glad i only borrowed it not wasted my money
what game were you playing? Fallout 3 was more linear. No offence, but you sound like one of those guys who played through 5 minutes, and because it wasn't a continuation of Fo3 you immediately wrote it off as a "cash in".

Don't get me wrong, I love fallout 3, but I do love New Vegas more and I don't think it deserves all the hate it gets. The Inconsistent stability though is a fair call, but that can be attributed to Bethesda rushing it out the door to compete with fable 3, and some reported that New Vegas wasn't that bad (myself included, but sometimes...)

Also, unlike other game companies obsidian actually try. They may not seem like they are, but at least they tried some new (and old but lost over time) things.

Sorry for the all over the place rant/Imnotsurewhatthisis. Should start promising to myself that I won't break into New Vegas defence every 5 minutes...
Its ok, maybe im not looking far enough into new vegas, im in novea novum? the second N town where theres a doc there and boone etc... anyway so far i have been told go to 1 city then the next then the next then the next, all in pretty strait lines, i have found 2 side quests which didnt exactly take me far from the beaten track, ok i know im only like 4 hours of so into new vegas but by that time in fallout 3 i had nuked megaton, done most of moira browns quest, found out where my dad was going, found loads of new locations i didnt have to go to, hadnt been warned to to go off a path incase i get eaten by rad scorps or death claws, i just found them(and to deathclaws consiquently died to them in old ohney) and was headed to republic of dave before going to the GNR building for next main quest.

from the ammount of the map i have so far traversed it looks like im about half way through walking around all the map, it looks and feels tiny compared to FO3 or say Oblivion or Morrowind which all seemed atleast 10 times the size of the new vegas map, andnone of them had a very clear path going from where you start to where you finish (im assuming most the story takes place in new vegas itself and i saw the road the first time i opened my map i knew how i would end up getting there.

so ye other people may have liked the game and thats fine, but thats why i disliked new vegas and just wish it wasnt there, i will play it to completion, unless it really gets on my nerves, but only because im not a quitter, but i wouldnt replay it or buy it.

activision isn't douchey they just are uncreative soul sucking corporate monsters, regurgitating the same game every year and adding pointless things to it. EA is making good games but restricting our abilities to get them.

I have never been fond of blizzard they always struck me as the type who know how much people love them so they like to take advantage same goes for nintendo
Can't forget Valve on that one. Eventually Episode 3 will come out once there are no more mods left for them to buy up.

OT: The spawn camper. not just any spawn camper, the one with the rocket launcher or the minigun. And once you kill him and think its all over, he does the same thing again

a week ago I would have said activision, now on the other hand. What origin does opens up the door for further spying. if we don't stand up now and fight we'll lose all our privacy, so yeah, ea's the biggest douche...

EA. The whole Origin fiasco can be dangerous to your financial and personal wellbeing. This is borderline illegal, and they're still going about it, as far as I can see. And why not also sell their games on Steam while still managing Origin? I'm pretty sure they gain most of the profit, while a portion goes to Valve for hosting the Steam service in the first place.

EA closely followed by Capcom...EA because I had to be connected their servers in order for my ME2 DLC to work on my PS3; and Capcom for releasing Ultimate MvC when the content on the disc should really be DLC and not an entire new game.

Why didn't Peter Molyneux get his own option?
Lol I got that funny vision in my head of there being all these massive gaming corporations up there and then you see Peter Molyneux. Like all his wrongs are so large they exceed passed every other company xD

Now I'm not really sure on this one, but I do believe you could add Riot, creators of LoL to the poll. While I actually enjoy what they do, and I'm not sure on the population of the Escapist that plays LoL, I know for a fact a lot of their youtube videos about the new patches get a lot of thumbs downs. If the Escapist had a strong community that followed LoL I'm sure plenty of people would vote for them. Just a passing thought :)

EA is the villain of gaming.

They destroyed countless companies for their own needs

They ruin games series that could have been the best in the industry

They ripped off steam and made their version worthless

That's all I can get off the top of my head.
