I agree with some earlier posters about Andy Parsons. Mock the Week would be better off without him.

And I can't stand Stewart "if you don't find me funny you're mentally deficient" Lee either. What a tosser.

The worst comedian I've ever seen was some amateur at an anime convention. She was opening for a friend of hers that was an actual comedian (not wildly successful, but had a schedule of clubs to perform in a few months at a time). She thought she could be funny by insulting shows she admitted to never watching: Deathnote, Pokemon, and Inu Yasha. Naturally one should avoid making fun of popular material while in front of self-proclaimed fans without any actual familiarity with it, but she tried. After 10 minutes when she started making fun of Japanese names as being strange, and supposedly somehow laughable, pretty much everyone wanted her off the stage and she obliged, albeit in tears. I'm not sure if she ever did stand up again.

I liked the inclusion of Glenn Beck in the pole. It's so hard to take him seriously because he doesn't seem to have any memory of what he said either five minutes or six months beforehand: racist, not racist; terrible American health care, great American health care. He is the polar opposite to Jon Stewart: A serious commentator that you can't take seriously versus a comedian with insightful commentary.

Andrew Dice Clay, easily.

Say what you will about Dane Cook, Larry the Cable Guy, or Jeff Dunham, they at least got a chuckle or two out of me (even though the rest of their jokes are terrible). Andrew Dice Clay, I just sat there waiting for a joke...and it never came! The dude doesn't tell jokes. He made it to Madison Square Garden doing the most incoherent misogynist and racist ramblings you've ever heard.

Most of the Blue Collar team is lame too. Why is Jeff Foxworthy not doing shows in Branson with Yakov Smirnoff? How does Bill Engvall have a career? Ron White is the man though, especially for opting out of that godawful Blue Collar TV show.

BTW, I saw Jon Stewart live shortly after the whole CNN Crossfire thing. He was awesome.

Patton Oswalt actually messaged me on MySpace once! I was mad because Dane Cook ripped off his Tivo bit and he replied back (and I quote): "Hey lay off the guy. How's he supposed to come up with new material? By writing it? Get real."

Best comedians...quite a few. Bill Bailey, Dylan Moran, Stephen Fry, Lee Evans, Noel Fielding, Russell Brand and the great Billy Conolly.
No, no, and a million times no.

Larry the Cable Guy, he doesn't have an act, just a dumb ass catch phrase he tosses out whenever he decides he needs a laugh.

Prop comics in general... Yes Jeff Dunham, your puppets are props stand in the corner with Gallagher and Carrottop.

The truth is there are a lot of bad comics out there, they've got one angle to their humor and beat it into the ground. I've seen it a dozen times on as many comics. I once saw Darrel Hammond at college, but the night before he had a special on comedy central.. it was the exact same act. We got a little restless as a crowd and pretty much bullied him into doing a Connery impression for a half-hour.

Don;t know any of them (British) But I looked into Larry the Cable Guy, because that seemed odd.

He made me smirk a few times, one giggle. Don't get why everyone was in tears and whooping

Sorry Dane but you're too overrated, you need to tone it down or I'm gonna vote for you next time. I just had to put Glenn Beck because I didn't even realize he was a comedian! I thought the only joke was how sad it is the American people believe him -.-

OK there is BAD comedians, and there is nonexistent ones, so Dane Cook get my vote.
Everytime he get to any kind of punchline , its stolen from someone else, usually from
early Bill Cosby in the seventhies or Richard Pryor from the same era.
Calling Cook a comedian is like calling a picture of soup a restaurant.

Date Cook ftl. I can't understand why he's still around. He isn't funny, and for the most part just steals jokes, modifies the delivery a bit to fit his 'style' and calls them his own.

Carlos Mencia. Nothing he does is original, and when he rips stuff off it isn't funny anyway. He should just STFU.

And that's why you never make jokes like *that* at an Anime convention. Seriously, the hell was she thinking there. It's like telling holding a twinkle in front of a room of fat guys that have eating disorders, you don't do it.

I like quite a few of the British comedians on this thread exept Andy Parsons, Joe Brand is also on my most hated list. Russle Howard, Dara o Brian and there is another Irish comedian who I can't remember, Rob something I think, are my favourites.
Yeah, Joe Brand would be up there on mine as well. Andy Parsons is my second most hated, and Alan Carr tops the board. He's just fucking annoying. Never found Peter Kay or that fat bearded guy (I don't recall his name) funny either. The one who appears in the PG adverts with the monkey.
Irish comedian... Rob Broderick?
The fat hairy man is called Johnny Vegas. I don't like him cos he reminds me of a prick at school and he sounds like he has a rubber duck stuck in his throat.

Ricky Gervais needs to be held upside down by his scrotum, carred to an active volcaino via airplane, and dropped in with every record that he ever existed.
