Well that's like, your opinion, man. I think it's a slightly amusing show that's mildly entertaining at best. But that's like, my opinion, man. I'd watch it if there was nothing else to watch. Fortunately for me there is.

Nothing ironic about it. The new My Little Pony show (subtitled Friendship is Magic), is genuinely GOOD.

...I know, I was surprised too. Just check out a couple episodes. It's funny, well-written, pleasant to look at, and wonderfully voiced. It's the complete package.

What have you got to lose by checking it out?

I've seen a couple of the audio overlays and found them highly amusing, but that was it until this thread. Then I stumbled into the Sonic Rainboom video linked earlier, and as a longtime Guile fan it was over. Watched part of an episode and so far I'm liking it because there are underlying puns (telling the cows to "steer clear") and because, quite frankly, it's very happy, and there's not enough of that around.

I still haven't watched MLP yet, but found a friend who does. I will certainly give it a try sometime.

I keep hearing stuff on this show, is this show actually funny or is this just giant joke I'm not in on. I mean My Little Pony in the 90's was something little boys made fun of girls for having. Now it's what men like? Snotnarok is either out of the loop or needs to see Q-Balls portal maker for a minute.
