I watched an episode of this for the first time today... based on that one alone, I'm going with Pinkie Pie. I like the weirdos. To be completely honest, I was more excited about seeing Spike than anything else. ("Hey! I didn't know he was in the new one!")

I am deathly afraid of watching more of this show... I'm not worried about 'what people will think'... far from it. I'm worried about my wallet. I was OBSSESSED with MLP growing up. I've got 2 trunkfuls of them in the garage, plus plushies, lunchboxes, board games, puzzles, Dream Castle, videos, a sewing machine, a 1985 Hi-C foldout calendar, a limited cermanic figure, party plates and napkins... you get the idea. I fear what I could do with a steady income and a fresh batch of ponies to squeal over.

Twilight sparkle, because not only is her name an oxy moron, but she is also a hypocrite. How can you be freaking magical and yet still be a skeptic which demands evidence!?!

I think the term "a fish doesn't notice the water it swims in" is appropriate. I think since magic is such a common thing in Equestiria (at least with Unicorns), has been studied, and is understood (she does say it is something Ponies are born with), anything that does fit with her idea of magic is like any time a scientist is faced with what should be traditionally "physically impossible."

That you are secure enough in your sexuality to look past surface appearances and try to appreciate a show for more that what it looks like at first glance?

It's a tv show that was created for little girls drawn to brightly coloured things and the ability to practice brushing their tails.

There is nothing under the first glance except a second glance at the same thing.

I'm telling you folks, your brains, what's left of them anyway, are turning to water.

And I'm so glad I'm less intelligent than you for liking the show. Maybe I'm happier for it.
