Definitely. I like left 4 Dead because it is a simple, sit down and play game with one purpose: mow down zombies. However, I would like to see increased numbers of non-special infected. The only times large groups come are when you are blinded by boomer bile. I want more zombies standing about, more zombies per horde, longer hordes, and more ways for horde-like waves to be called. For instance, firing guns makes some zombies spawn and charge like a small horde. Other than that, I don't really want to see much more, except some more interesting defense sequences some times. Honestly, I feel like holding off hordes in apartment buildings and houses without having to deal with a tank would be fun, because you worry about holding off numbers rather than killing a zombie god. Still, the Left 4 Dead series is very fun and I'd hate to see number 2 be the last one.

Yes I would because both games in this series are some of the most consistent entertainment I have had in a while.

I played the L4d 1 and thought it was ok but nothing special for about 5 seconeds and then desided it was crap. Then abut 4 or 5 people told me that L4D2 was basicly the first one and all I could think was that valve have been wasting their time on these massive pieces of crap when they could be getting on with making half life 2 episode 3.

I still haven't bought Left 4 Dead 2. I'm waiting for it to go like $2.50 as I know it will someday. Which makes me sad because it was like $5 a little while ago and I could have bought it then. I'm interested in it but am too lazy. I'd probably by an L4D3 on two conditions: if I like L4D2 and if it's released at a low price, say, $20.

Yes because I enjoyed L4D2. It should have Ellis's friend Keith as a survivor! He has survived a dozen terrible experiences, so how would a zombie apocalypse be able to stop him?

It loses it's fun after you play it alone a bit, but with friends, screwing around can be really fun.

They would have to completely change the formula to the other two and still probably wouldn't, there is only so many ways you can kill a zombie

It really depends on what they do with it, if it is as similar to 2 as 2 was to one then i'd wait till a sale is on. Otherwise i'd decide on gameplay trailers and what is released,

Every game that Valve releases is a slap in the face until Ep. 3 is out.

I would pee on it. Or beside it. Whatever.

I definately would, unless they completely screwed it up.

What can I say? I'm a sucker for that kind of game.

Honestly, that is a hard question, i guess it would depend on setting and new stuff like melee weapons in the 2nd one, but i dont think they could add a new weapon set, though, i dont really thing about that stuff since (i think) the melee is already fine on its own.

I didn't even want to get L4D2, it was too soon they didn't do anything they promised and that annoyed me.
With L4D they promised they'd have updates like TF2 so I lept on it because hell the game is still being updated 3 years later, then 6 or 7 months into L4D being out they announce a sequel?! I get that a lot was updated in 2, but I bought 1 on the selling point "TF2 like updates" and they totally flopped on that.
I wound up getting it because of a favor I did for a friend, gifted me like 3 games on steam when they were on super sale. Otherwise I'd probably not have gotten it till it was down to like ...5 bucks that one time.
