I would never kick a dog, even if it were annoying or trying to bite me or something. I love dogs too much to bring them pain without reason. Sure, I have cause my dog a bit of pain but only as discipline.

i also find it interesting that the very fact they asked the question deserves reprimand. you don't have to kick the dog for 15$ dollars, but does the person asking you to really deserver to be kicked possible even killed by you just for asking you to? some of the post i'm reading seem to think so.

They're extrapolating on the hypothetical situation of someone coming up to you, cute pet in tow, and saying "$5 to kick this puppy." The bolded portion of my last quote is the reason behind wanting to kick the person, instead. How someone treats pets is a good reflection of how they treat others, in general. You may not know the puppy, or really give a damn about it, but are you seriously going to abuse it for $5? Or even $15?
If $15 for abusing an animal is going to guarantee your survival, you really have some a) skewed priorities
and/or b) need to think of some sound logic as to how that person's survival is really worth that animal's livelihood. $15 can be stretched out for some use, despite how little money it is, but in the long run, if $15 is going to save you from death at that very moment, you're not going to alleviate the situation for very long.

That doesn't sound pretentious, just ignorant. The only thing that defies logic is causing serious injury to some other living, breathing thing for a measly $5-$15.

My Dog is sat on the couch behind me and I just looked at her and thought "I could never ever hurt you" I mean, when I accidentally stand on her Paws, I feel bad a little.I laugh at the yelp a little. but still feel guilty.

I know one thing.If I saw someone kick my Dog, then they'd get the biggest dropkick in the throat and then get punted in the head, Randy Orton style, but with my Steel Toecaps on and i'd actually make contact.

If my Dog was attacking me, and I mean, really going for it, trying to bite me, even though she's a Patterjack (This is a pic of her incase some of you don't know what a Patterjack is) then yeah, I'd have no choice but to punch her in the head or something to get her off me.I'd hate it, but i'd have to do it.

Neither, crapping in the house or humping someones leg are both forms of unacceptable behaviour- pain acts as an instant discouragement.

So you?re just incredibly unknowledgeable when it comes to modern dog training? You have to be if you think that physical abuse is a good form of punishment ? an idea that most dog experts abandoned a long time ago.

Just tell you don?t own a dog.
