They're extrapolating on the hypothetical situation of someone coming up to you, cute pet in tow, and saying "$5 to kick this puppy." The bolded portion of my last quote is the reason behind wanting to kick the person, instead. How someone treats pets is a good reflection of how they treat others, in general. You may not know the puppy, or really give a damn about it, but are you seriously going to abuse it for $5? Or even $15?AlexNora said:i also find it interesting that the very fact they asked the question deserves reprimand. you don't have to kick the dog for 15$ dollars, but does the person asking you to really deserver to be kicked possible even killed by you just for asking you to? some of the post i'm reading seem to think so.
That doesn't sound pretentious, just ignorant. The only thing that defies logic is causing serious injury to some other living, breathing thing for a measly $5-$15.AlexNora said:but I understand you all have some form of attachment to animals and it blocks your logic (im sounding pretentious)
Yeah, that really doesn't sound half as funny as you must have thought it would.Togs said:Its not ok to hurt an innocent animal for such a trivial reason.
But if the thing was humping my leg or had crapped in the house then Id boot the thing.

You'd kick a dog for humping your leg or crapping inside?Togs said:Humour was not my intention.CarlMinez said:Yeah, that really doesn't sound half as funny as you must have thought it would.Togs said:Its not ok to hurt an innocent animal for such a trivial reason.

Yes, and I believe I've already stated as much.CarlMinez said:You'd kick a dog for humping your leg or crapping inside?
No, I'm just curious. Are you suffering from some sort of antisocial disorder or are you just trying to provoke?Togs said:Yes, and I believe I've already stated as much.CarlMinez said:You'd kick a dog for humping your leg or crapping inside?
And self righteous indignation in 3-2-1....
Your Fluttershy avatar would be ashamed.Aris Khandr said:Yes, but because I hate dogs.
Neither, crapping in the house or humping someones leg are both forms of unacceptable behaviour- pain acts as an instant discouragement.CarlMinez said:No, I'm just curious. Are you suffering from some sort of antisocial disorder or are you just trying to provoke?
So you?re just incredibly unknowledgeable when it comes to modern dog training? You have to be if you think that physical abuse is a good form of punishment ? an idea that most dog experts abandoned a long time ago.Togs said:Neither, crapping in the house or humping someones leg are both forms of unacceptable behaviour- pain acts as an instant discouragement.CarlMinez said:No, I'm just curious. Or would you just let them continue to do it with no form of reprimand?
