I'd feel horrible for killing someone who was trying to help his friend, I know it's a war and everything but that soldier is probably gonna be out of action for a long while and depending on the scale of the war probably isn't going to be a problem for my country before the war ends.
If it's someone like the Taliban however, definitely, when you start killing your own people in order to get a point across you lose all rights to life in my eyes.
