I agree. I personally don't care about the avatars that much at all, but if they are going to have them they need: A. Better stuff and B. Cheaper Items.
I don't mind them that much.
The only thing I bought was the COG armor and it with was worth it.
But recently I switch the COG helmet with this Spartan EVA one. (not bad looking actually)

I managed to make a guy who reminds people of Mr teatime from Terry Pratchet's Hogfather and that is sufficient enough for me.
There's actually a bunch of stuff I would love to buy, but would never pay much for given how little Avatar's get used right now.
Avatar's Need:
1.) More use in more games. What the heck was MS thinking in not making Arcade actually have direct Avatar control? If Avatars had more usage, I wouldn't mind paying the prices Avatar clothing and items currently cost.
Or
2.) Cheaper prices and more free stuff. Because I can't use my Avatar for much I don't feel any incentive to spend much money on it.. but there is some pretty cool stuff I would buy even with the little use it would get if only it were cheaper.
