Modern Warfare 2 was released on my cousins 16th birthday. We spent the whole weekend playing the game at his house (6 tv's and 6 xbox's all running off the one modem). We ended up having a 200 game winning streak.

Longest gaming session,hmm,
two spring to mind :

1)A lan party/warhammer/1v1 fighting game marathon, that must've lasted at least 30 hours, probably more
2)A 24+hour session final fantasy X

These days however I'm not so keen on long sessions, messes with my mind, I can probably last 5/6 hours on a good day now.

About 7/8 hours. I played and finished Spec Ops: The Line in one sitting. It was great.

I remember playing Paper Mario for 13 hours once. I don't even know why I didn't stop, I just really got into it. I didn't even realise how long I'd been playing until the 12th hour.

I used to play 16 hours of Diablo two pretty often when i was in highschool .

Then world of warcraft came along and it turned into 24 hour sessions . That's my max .

Only other game i played for 24 hour straight was dark souls , when it first came out .

Yesterday i did a 10 hour gaming session , 8 hours of tales of grace f and 2 hours of UMVC3.

I clicked 4 to 8 hours, but I remember on Rock Band 2 I got the achievement for playing all the songs in one setlist... However I don't remember how long that was meant to take, does anone actually know?

I played Planescape Torment first time in one sitting and I read absolutely everything I could in the game including all the item descriptions etc and didn't use a guide.

Probably back when ME2 was released, took me 2 days to complete it, around 15 hours straight both days. Great weekend, that one.

Same thing happened with ME3, although that didn't take over 30 hours.

Only other game i played for 24 hour straight was dark souls , when it first came out .

24 hours of Dark Souls? Even though it is my new favorite game of all time, I don't think I could manage it that long in one session I think my longest DS run was about 5-7 hours, started a new character, rang both bells and got the Lordvessel. That was a pretty good run, I have to admit

For about 3 months I would play Frozen Throne fomr around 2-4pm until 4-6am everyday but that was when I didn't have a life haha

My longest was finishing AC2 in one go during a 15 hour stretch - and doing basically everything he game had to offer plus diking around. That was pretty tiring.

But it was nothing in comparison to playing competitive CS for 9 consecutive hours. The toll that took on my wrist, back, eyes and brain is something I shall not easily forget. I got the worst(and longest) headache of my life afterwards.

The longest I think I've ever gone I believe is just getting up in the morning, then playing until I go to bed. My parents will ***** if I stayed up really late. Maybe when I move out, I'll lock myself alone for a few days XD

Skyrim upon release day. Sessioned for just under 20 hours. My longest before that was Diablo 2, which was about 8 hours. Though i have friends who i think have destroyed both of my records.

I semi memorable one for me was 5 hours with 2 friends with the original BORDERLANDS...


With myself... I would say 6 I guess? Almost never get to that point thougt, that was maybe just once or twice. With a fair number of breaks in between.


EDIT:WAIT, what does "Gaming session" Stand for now?


It has to be with just ONE lone game, or it can be multiple games?

I cant imagine for my life how COULD someone possibly play the exact same game for 6+ hours. Not even the bests games ever IMO would be able to do that with me, it just gets old after a time.

14 hours when my WoW guild was progressing through Ulduar. Spent maybe 9 hours trying to down Yogg Saron easily... we got him. before the nerf. After the nerf everybody and their mother got him >_>

I can't do that anymore. I get too tired and irritated. 6-8 hours max now

I think when I played Fallout 3 for the first time, I constantly played it for 11 hours.

I was up 'till I think 2:00 am in the morning before I finally went to bed.

some years ago i kept awake for 74 hours nonstop but now im getting older it gets harder and harder xD
