Poll: Zombies vs. Vampires?

Not in a fight, just whoever's cooler/scarier/whateverer.... who do you prefer?

For me Vampires, its the intelligence that gives them that don't-turn-around-just-pass-the-andrex freakiness. That and the count from sesame street, damn he rocks.

Inspired by I am Legend, I honestly thought it was about zombies until I read the book (can't recommend it enough by the way)

I've done five hours of litgation exams today... need mindlessness...

Also, I choose neither, one can't go out in the sun and the other can't go faster than walking pace, they aren't the most threatening of things.

Depending on your method, ghouls can be considered a kind of zombie.

Considering vampirism is generally a blood-born thing and most zombies don't seem to have an active blood stream, probably nothing.

Zombies, because vampires require trained vampire hunters, while anyone with a large blunt object can fight zombies.

I'm gonna say a zombie, because you know technically the Tank from L4D is a zombie.

Vampires make zombies if you look at Transylvanian lore,

"A vampire is a bringer of flesh who has retained parts of his humanity after death, A zombie is that when he looses his humanity, And is fully, Truly, Undead."

Basically because vampires only Drink the blood of there victims they are better, And more restraint, And in control. While a Zombie has no restraints and consumes the flesh as with the blood. God I'm a geek.

In coolness I chose Zombies, because I have a special spot in my brain that contains an extreme hatred for Twilight.

I know this involves fighting, but if a vampire bit a zombie, wouldn't that turn the vampire into a vampire zombie?

Vampires, by far. They don't come in hoards, but they are far more subtle, intelligent, resourceful, and powerful, and they might have all kinds of weird vampire powers. Except Twilight vampires, of course. Althaough I must say that the idea of a Twilight fan fiction work where zombies attack and kill everybody actually sounds like it might be pretty amusing.

Zombies. A vampire can be killed. However, for every zombie you kill another 20 comes to replace it.
That said, I prefer Werewolves a thousand times more than zombies and vampires combined.
