"Hello normal women, would you like to join us males in this gaming hobby of ours? Just step around the porn stars with the Wii remotes and we can get to the mature and intelligent section!"

Well that explains a lot, IGN being the immature, overly excitable man-children they are, they'll probably be sweatily masturbating over this for the next month. Really, if you want LPs, there's Youtube, if you want tits, there's porn. Mixing the two won't improve either.Source: IGN
I think you're giving her too much credit dude. The only thing she's setting back is whatever career she hopes to forge by just being annoying and foolish.The_root_of_all_evil said:For putting the cause of feminists back to the Dark Ages, iJustine:Paragon Fury said:Who? I didn't actually think about it that way, but yeah, if you want to use that analogy, it's like combining gourmet sirloin steak, and a great banana split. Both are awesome in their own right, but you wouldn't want banana in your steak, or steak in your ice cream.Eggsnham said:Sex sells, and a lot of people like videogames, but sometimes combining two awesome things just makes the product suck terribly.
Only time will tell I s'pose.
While i do agree with your post over at IGN they have 262 comments while we have 266 and glancing through theirs they seem to feel mostly the same as we do towards this subject take a look: http://games.ign.com/articles/119/1195036p1.htmlThe-Epicly-Named-Man said:Well that explains a lot, IGN being the immature, overly excitable man-children they are, they'll probably be sweatily masturbating over this for the next month. Wow, that is pretty odd.Shadow-Phoenix said:While i do agree with your post over at IGN they have 262 comments while we have 266 and glancing through theirs they seem to feel mostly the same as we do towards this subject take a look: http://games.ign.com/articles/119/1195036p1.htmlThe-Epicly-Named-Man said:Well that explains a lot, IGN being the immature, overly excitable man-children they are, they'll probably be sweatily masturbating over this for the next month. It was only alluding to me getting my video games somewhere else. One where they seem to really enjoy Gears of War.Swny Nerdgasm said:So you're done with The Escapist because of a news article they posted?PeePantz said:I'm sorry Escapist, I really did enjoy my time here....
Shouldn't this article have some sort of NSFW thing? (I know the title already has some warning, but still)Marshall Honorof said:Snip
Well, sure if you're looking for the most controversial way to approach it. I was more referring to the TOS which make adult content, linking to adult content etc etc all rather bannable. So no, they would get flak for 'discriminating against their profession', they'd happily sit and ban them for violating the terms of use. The only way to get around it would be to completely disassociate their gamertags from their website, which means less revenue from advertising if they're about reviewing and such.FelixG said:MS would be opening themselves up to a lot of attacks if they banned the girls accounts. Then they are attacking people just based on their profession and showing biase against female news casters ect.Elijin said:Wonder how long it takes for someone to report them?
I mean, I cant imagine family happy MS will allow them to link their gamertags to this so openly.
They may not be happy, but I am sure they will suffer through it.
You kind of wasted your time when you responded to this post, and didn't make any kind of argument of either where you got that impression, and how being a person who enjoys expressing and using sex as a profession makes them have no dignity or self respect. I could go on to list examples of every profession that could give off the same impression, but I would be wasting my time.canadamus_prime said:That is not something I'm going to get into now on this thread. ...besides I'd probably be wasting my time anyway.awsome117 said:I don't see where or how you got that, but ok I guess.canadamus_prime said:Well that was the impression I got anyway.
Because sex makes people bad? Or doing sex as a job is bad? Most people who do porn, actually enjoy doing it, not just for a paycheck.canadamus_prime said:Only when it becomes a profession and/or a hobby.
I also can't see how you would look down on someone who gives viewing pleasure. Same way as you don't look down on sports stars. I hate sports, but that doesn't mean the people who play them and get paid for them are any less of a person.
If they are sellouts, now that is a different story but not one for here.
Clearly no mature and intelligent (ok, some are I'll give you that) on this side.Corporal Yakob said:"Hello normal women, would you like to join us males in this gaming hobby of ours? Just step around the porn stars with the Wii remotes and we can get to the mature and intelligent section!"
