I think we're onto something here. Chances are you'll find a suspicious overlap between people who never watched porn, and blind ones.

Well it's kind of impossible to not bump into porn while surfing the net, I'm a pretty odd person and I can't watch it because it upsets me, but yeah I sometimes bump into them, hell sometimes I google food and porn appears, so I really doubt there are many Internet users that have not seen it, it's pretty much everywhere.
I think that would probably count. I would have said there's a difference between having looked at/watched porn and having it come into your field of view long enough for you to recognise it and get it out of your sight again.

Well, I'm 18 and to be fair only tried watching recently, and found it boring, so probbaly won't again.

It'd be better if they were looking for people who don't consume it regularly, since, as people have said, you'll probably run into it by accident by the time you're 20, aslong as you know what a computer is.

Edit: I've always had a weird point of view on this thing. I'm pretty sure I have a sex drive, I am just rather uninterested in emulating it or watching someone else.

The only people that jump to mind are Amish people. Maybe Budists. You know. Places without internet.
I think the Amish might be a good guess, but even they might have at least stumbled across it at some point since they have to go out into the real world at some point and experience the modern world before deciding to remain an Amish or not.

However you're right, people without internet are the ones who are the most likely never to have watched it.

I know a bloke who isn't very active. Even he caught a few videos just for the sake for curiosity.
Even an asexual person had to find that out about themselves somehow, and I would presume that many viewed porn of some stripe before that point.

People in their twenties?

Jesus, best of luck with that. I'm in that age-range and we were hitting our teens around the time Google introduced the Image search before they ever had a way of 'Safe Searching'. I came across porn on a regular basis without meaning to. I even tried putting every letter of the alphabet into Google back then and I think only five or six letters didn't lead me to porn in ten pages.

People won't don't regularly watch it wouldn't be too hard to - I know one guy who says it kind of grosses him out because he's a massive romantic about that sort of thing. Then again, he's the one person I know out of every male I've ever known ever.

I haven't seen any porn! Of course, I've seen the odd advert that's uncomfortably close to porn - women in suggestive poses to advertise perfume or somesuch - but I've never watched intentionally nor accidentally seen any.

If you?ve used Google images or deviant art you?ve seen porn, it?s near impossible to avoid. Seeing as they said ?not porn watchers? though implies people who don?t intentionally find porn to watch.
I really don?t like porn (23, used internet for years). Something about it weird?s me out (the fact people like it is pretty weird to me). Seeing as porn sells and all I?m not surprised to be in the minority but seriously, they couldn?t find anyone? They can?t be looking hard enough.

Well, not males ones apparently.

University of Montreal researchers wanted to compare the attitudes of non-porn watchers to regular viewers.

But researcher Professor Simon Louis Lajeunesse told the Daily Telegraph they simply couldn't find any.

"We started our research seeking men in their twenties who had never consumed pornography. We couldn't find any," he said.

After reading that I got a bit curious. Did they just not look hard enough, or does access to the internet guarantee porn usage? At least for men. So, query: Are there any men on the Escapist in their twenties or older who've never watched porn?
I know one man who has never watched porn. He says quote "I'm not gay, why would I want to touch parts I already have." Oh, he's also blind.
I would bet money that there is braille or pop out porn.

I'm comfortable with betting that because even if I'm wrong, I'll happily pay up because I can go market that shit and make it back. The market for hands-on porn has to be huge. Pun intended.

They didn't go far enough. They just need a community with no internet access, and restrictions on purchases of adult magazines, and they should find at least one kid who's not in the know.

Of course, that's probably more common in Australia than Canada.

I thought you meant "A virgin has never been in a porno", and than it got me thinking that I've never seen a video with the caption "Her first time having sex", so I was convinced.

But than I was like, "Nah, I'm sure someone in Japan filmed a virgin doing weird shit"

Well what do they mean "watched porn". I mean, you can just stumble upon porn just casually browsing the net and lose your "porn virginity". I'm willing to bet a overwhelming majority of internet users intentionally watch porn, both men and women.
Change that to "watch or read porn" and I agree. For whatever reason (any psychologists around?) women tend to prefer written erotica to video/photo porn. Hence why Mills & Boon has been going strong for so long, and Fifty Shades of Grey was such a massive hit.

I am wondering why Family Guy hasn't made a joke about it to be honest. Seems like something they would do.

You would have to start looking in an Amazonian jungle to find a porn virgin.

Me and pretty much every male friend I've known has either been into porn at some point or still is enjoying porn.

They're looking in the wrong places.

Try Ethiopia, better luck there.

Don't know if there's a tally yet but asexual here and I've watched porn...there's a reaction video floating around somewhere of me and a friend from watching 2 girls 1 cup and another reaction video of me and that same friend watching...something to do with a cell phone...can't remember the titles. I don't think either of those count as porn though...but still mark me for a yes: I have seen it.

Off Topic: AM I THE ONLY ONE could very well have been validated in this study assuming they do find someone who has never watched porn.
