I think we're onto something here. Chances are you'll find a suspicious overlap between people who never watched porn, and blind ones.Zack Alklazaris said:Oh, he's also blind.

I think that would probably count. I would have said there's a difference between having looked at/watched porn and having it come into your field of view long enough for you to recognise it and get it out of your sight again.Kaleion said:Well it's kind of impossible to not bump into porn while surfing the net, I'm a pretty odd person and I can't watch it because it upsets me, but yeah I sometimes bump into them, hell sometimes I google food and porn appears, so I really doubt there are many Internet users that have not seen it, it's pretty much everywhere.
It is delicious porn...you must eat it. Omnomnomnom.Kopikatsu said:"We started our research seeking men in their twenties who had never consumed pornography.
I think the Amish might be a good guess, but even they might have at least stumbled across it at some point since they have to go out into the real world at some point and experience the modern world before deciding to remain an Amish or not.Solo-Wing said:The only people that jump to mind are Amish people. Maybe Budists. You know. Places without internet.
Even an asexual person had to find that out about themselves somehow, and I would presume that many viewed porn of some stripe before that point.TheIronRuler said:I know a bloke who isn't very active. Even he caught a few videos just for the sake for curiosity.
we need to get dome Amish on the escapistZachary Amaranth said:I bet the Amish are a good source.TopazFusion said:Asexuals? Maybe? Hell, I dunno...Kopikatsu said:Are there any men on the Escapist in their twenties or older who've never watched porn?
I'm certainly not a porn virgin >.>
I would bet money that there is braille or pop out porn.Zack Alklazaris said:I know one man who has never watched porn. He says quote "I'm not gay, why would I want to touch parts I already have." Oh, he's also blind.Kopikatsu said:Well, not males ones apparently.

But researcher Professor Simon Louis Lajeunesse told the Daily Telegraph they simply couldn't find any.
"We started our research seeking men in their twenties who had never consumed pornography. We couldn't find any," he said.
After reading that I got a bit curious. Did they just not look hard enough, or does access to the internet guarantee porn usage? At least for men. So, query: Are there any men on the Escapist in their twenties or older who've never watched porn?
Change that to "watch or read porn" and I agree. For whatever reason (any psychologists around?) women tend to prefer written erotica to video/photo porn. Hence why Mills & Boon has been going strong for so long, and Fifty Shades of Grey was such a massive hit.DugMachine said:Well what do they mean "watched porn". I mean, you can just stumble upon porn just casually browsing the net and lose your "porn virginity". I'm willing to bet a overwhelming majority of internet users intentionally watch porn, both men and women.
I am wondering why Family Guy hasn't made a joke about it to be honest. Seems like something they would do.Kopikatsu said:I would bet money that there is braille or pop out porn.Zack Alklazaris said:I know one man who has never watched porn. I'm comfortable with betting that because even if I'm wrong, I'll happily pay up because I can go market that shit and make it back. The market for hands-on porn has to be huge. Pun intended.

Don't know if there's a tally yet but asexual here and I've watched porn...there's a reaction video floating around somewhere of me and a friend from watching 2 girls 1 cup and another reaction video of me and that same friend watching...something to do with a cell phone...can't remember the titles. I don't think either of those count as porn though...but still mark me for a yes: I have seen it.TopazFusion said:Asexuals? Maybe?
