Sex is great, and people are into whatever they are into... but i'm opposed to the industry because i reckon it does more detriment to the lives of the women in it than good.

It's a visual stimulation to provoke sexual arousal and aid in masturbation. Don't really know why it's so taboo, probably for the same stupid reason that sex in general is still taboo. And I guess it's mostly an American problem. Wish we'd get over it though, the sooner we do, the sooner we can focus more on enjoying sexual activity and keeping it healthy.

I think about half of my friends are willing to come right out and say, "Yes, I masturbate." Myself included. This number SEEMS to be growing to me and I certainly hope that it is. Get these things out in the open, make them more frequently discussed and the societal taboo begins to drift away.
I guess it must an American problem because UK and Europe are the epicentre of sexual freedom, and America seems much more restricted while at the same time...

I rarely use it anymore, as my own imagination is much more effective/I'm actually getting sex with women now, so it's unnecessary. I enjoy the occasional redtube or spankwire vid, but other than that I am no longer a porno fan. I have nothing against it, though, many of my friends use it to get off and I used to rely heavily upon it for spank material.
Ahh Spankwire, that takes me back...

Porn is porn either way, watched it before, and between dry spells I'll watch it again. Spankwire served it's purpose.

Imagination is far more exciting than porn.
I don't have a problem with it in the slightest and I would have no problem if I had a partner that watched it. To me, porn became boring & just plain vulgar very quickly. Each to their own.

I don't know. It symbolizes capitalism for me. Don't know why, really.

And of course, fapping. No matter how disgusting I know it is, I remain nothing more than a hairless ape.

It's sometimes amazingly hilarious (i.e. Edward Penis-hands), but sometimes quite visually and aesthetically satisfying (i.e. Andrew Blake movies).

Whoops, I guess now everyone knows I do watch it.

I don't watch porn. I don't mean I haven't even watched porn, when younger (I am still young) I watched some but never much.
If you look at the meaning of pornography it means anything that can make you aroused or makes you feel more sexual tension. This means pornography can be anything from movies, pictures to socks you think look sexy.
I personally think porn in movie form is for people with bad fantasies ^^, no offense to anyone but I prefer my mind doing the job instead of the screen.
Otherwise I have nothing against it, if people want to watch it, please go ahead.

As long as people aren't getting off to disturbing subject matter I think it's fine in moderation.

Personally I don't look into it that much, and being Catholic I feel a bit awkward just talking about it.

This.

I don't have anything against porn, and used to watch it every once in a while, but...meh. I find it to be rather dull compared to what's in your head. Even when I watched porn more often in high school, it was just to get my imagination going...I'd start off the first few minutes and then switch it off. I DO still feel that it can be degrading (to both men and women) and I don't really see how you can argue otherwise...but, eh, such is life. As long as you accept that what you're watching is basically fantasy, I don't have a problem with it. I feel like the problem is a lot of stupid guys don't...and I guess it's something a lot grow out of, but come on...we all know that guy that compares all women in real life to a porno. That is a sad, sad man. :/ That being said, porn did not make him that way obviously, but I guess it didn't help.

Also I've found that it's less exciting now that I'm in a long term relationship. Same goes for him. And if I'm thinking logically, I understand that if a guy watches porn while in a relationship, there's nothing wrong with that, and it obviously doesn't mean he's not attracted to you...but I'll admit, emotionally, I'd have a problem if he continued to see porn on a regular (like daily) basis while with me. :/

Only repressed religious turds think that porn is a bad thing.

Whilst in general I think pornography is horrible and disgusting. And it tends to give people a skewed view on sex in general.

I'm a fan. There's some nasty stuff that I think really can qualify as "sick" or "degrading," but I think porn gets a bad rap.

I mean, hell, there's degrading literature, but we don't band books...Well, MOST of us don't.

People masturbate, it's a natural thing we do I think is healthy for the body and soul- so to speak.

Some people can get off by simply their own imagination or their own memories- though a lot of us (Men and Women) need something visually stimulating to help us get in the mood and really knock our socks off. That's basically where pornography comes into it. There's nothing sinful about it, though. I mean, hell, God's the one with the problem- watching people masturbate. Weird voyeur fetish there, I guess. I'm just trying to get to sleep or lonely when my girlfriend's not around.

That and some couples use it when they feel like they've done just about all that they know about sex with their partner, or seen all that they can do- and need a little inspiration. The act of watching porn while having sex is sometimes hot enough by itself, but then there's some that want to replicate it. Good luck with that
