I was watching Tyra (well, Tyra was on TV while I was eating breakfast and I was too lazy to find the remote) and some people have watched porn thinking it was real. it was about jr high and high schoolers (boys and girls) who thought that porn is the greatest thing ever and having sex was okay with no consequences. One of the girls mentioned that the reason she has sex so constantly is because she has really good sex, and Tyra just laughed at the idea of a 14 year old girl thinking she knows what good sex is.

well for me, It makes absolutely no sense. Why do they think that they're telling such a great story? The first porn I watched I was with my cousins. One of them brought a porn tape with them and they thought it was a good idea to watch it. It was a room full of guys watching a porn together. that was just strange. Our VCR at the time just destroyed tapes when we would fast forward through a movie, so we had to watch the whole thing. Good god that was a horrible story. They make it seem like people are having sex all the time, no matter what they are doing. This one was about a female police detective who mastribates when she is around a crime scene. It was just laughably bad. It had a whole story line that it followed too, but it was still really bad. we eventually stopped the tape and ended up playing Starfox64.

when they get straight to the sex, sure why not.
when they are telling a story, I just want to bang my head against a wall. not even the sex can save that.

Oh no, I think my account is linked to my facebook!

I only slap around the trouser trout when my sexual desires start bothering me, I.E.: When I'm trying to do something, but my stupid, over testosteronized man parts won't just shut up and leave me alone, and since I'm a teenager, this happens more often than I'd like.

As someone who has actually been hurt by porn before, I greatly dislike it. Most of the comments I read here state "if it's not hurting anyone, it's all right", but where is the line drawn? What exactly is hurting someone?
No offense, but you weren't hurt by porn. You were hurt by a boy who didn't understand the difference between reality and fantasy. This is something that is by no means unique to porn, and it's tough to really pin the blame here on porn.

Doesn't bother me. In fact there are some porn out there that can be very educational and that are specifically made to help partners spice up their sex lives. So I'm all for it!

I don't really care about pornography. It's relatively, pretty normal thing to do.

I imagine being in the industry can be pretty awful--but if you have consent and respect---then it shouldn't be an issue. But, it doesn't always work out that way.

I find it material that is meant to be porno to be disgusting and pointless. Same goes with material where women have boobs times 5 of their waistline and they keep jigling. I do not judge material that is erotic to some people but to rest it can be an everyday object. (Cars/cloths/shoes/etc).

Meh. I'm not a fan of porn. I find nothing wrong with it as long as it isn't child porn or bestiality or anything illegal like that and I don't instantly assume that a fan of porn is a sexist pervert (By that logic; my wife is a sexist pervert.) but I just don't care for porn. I find it boring. I watch it and I don't feel any sense of passion or eroticism; plus all that swearing and bad acting gives me a headache. I just feel like "Why can't I see if my wife is in the mood?" because that to me is infinitely more satisfying as there's actually passion involved. I'm one of those over-romantic types who thinks that sex should only be for love and I guess procreation but I am never going to be a father.

There are some exceptions. IF it is funny, like the 1978 Alice in Wonderland porno. That was hilarious and I do have a ribald sense of humour. I can't help but laugh when the Hatter cons Alice into getting a peek under his coat, "This number isn't my hat size.. IT'S THE SIZE OF MY PHING-A-MAJIG!" (Classic trenchcoat flash) and of course "What's a nice girl like you doing on a knight like that?" Etc. My wife sometimes watches funny ones with me and if they're done right they can be entertaining even if they are hardcore porn.

I do like erotic nudes and artistic nudes though, but I have a VERY fine line between nude photography and paintings and soft or hardcore pornography; even if many people will tell you that there is no such difference. I would go into detail but I would have to get visual and I don't want to feel the wrath of the banhammer.

With the exception of immature pricks who try and take their opinion of women and sexuality from porn (But then again these people are already clearly idiots or assholes) I don't think that there is anything wrong with people who enjoy pornography and don't think its as evil or demoralizing as people make it; though I do understand the age restrictions on actual pornography though I feel our feelings on nudity in certain context is so harsh; but once again that's a different rant I'd probably have to use visuals to try and voice my opinion on so I should probably zip it around now.

I'll browse through it some days. Most of it just annoys me, with the bad acting and the fakeness and the absurdity of the scenarios and the general plastic-ness of the actresses

Sometimes though...hoo boy

It's awesome. I like editing together reams of the most horrifying and unusual porno I can get my hands on then slipping it on at house parties, covertly of course, goes down a storm.

I find it funny how many straight/bi women only enjoy girl-on-girl porn.
I find it funny how all straight men, enjoy girl-on-girl porn. Maybe it's the fantasy of getting something you can't have? Or maybe we, men, like to imagine ourselves being in the middle of it all.
Or maybe it's, you know, two naked girls obviously aroused going at each other.

OT: There are studies that show that pornography can be harmful to younger children, no I am not talking teens, but child on child sexual abuse is linked to some form of sexual trauma to children and in some cases the only trauma to the child that can be found is porn. Again no, not naked pictures of people, it's viewing sexual acts that can in some cases lead to child on child sexual abuse. Best out of the hands of those that are not mature enough for it yet. Anywhere it's just like anything else mostly harmless on it's own, with an assortment of people that do become addicted to it. But hey people get addicted to stranger things.

It's just porn after all.
So like, if little children watch porn, they get the idea to try it themselves? Which causes trauma? Just clarifying.

I always found it really odd that it was illegal to watch porn as a 12 year old.

Yeah you could pretty much simplify it that way.
