From watching the video guide it seems that you recieve a unique quest from the npc as well dependant on the character and background you create, i hope that my preorder works with it

According to Microsoft's Major Nelson, there are 2000 different visual combinations for the character, so you're almost certainly going to be able to get him or her looking the way you want.
Does that mean I will be able to make the NPC look like Reaver from Fable 2? Because that's the only way I can ever see myself being able to exact revenge on that character. The idea of doing that is actually a nice incentive towards making me preorder this game.

I love fable but I've always had a ps3 and in order to download the demo NPC maker I have to make a live account, it feels like signing my soul over to the devil.

That's actually fairly awesome. Might just preorder the game, and if I don't buy it, I'll just use the preorder to buy something else.

I actually kinda assumed this referred to virtual indentured servitude or something. Interesting notion I guess. I'll get the game eventually but I'm not terribly excited one about its arrival.

Already pre-ordered. I like it when stuff like this happens. Should be interesting.

I tried it out already. Yeah, it's just a gimmick, but an interesting one though. Still, usually these codes never come out until the game releases, so it could be months before I can even save any villager I made with the maker.

Oddly, I didn't think about using it to make a potential game wife until this article.

Why does this not surprise me in the least?
Because just like Bruce Willis in Unbreakable, you posses super human abilities only you don't know it yourself, but then one day Samuel L Jackson will start harassing you and then you fight a janitor?

Or Fable developers aren't very unpredictable.

There's a game that gives you the ability to create people and interact with them? Hmmm.

This pretty much sums up the Fable series for me. Interesting yet ultimately pointless.
Are not all games pointless? Fun, but pointless.
OT: Nice more reason for me to pre-order. Will they do this for amazon do ya think?

Fable 3: Bringing new meaning to the phrase "Go fuck yourself".

I quite like this idea as it?s something unique. I would probably create a NPC with similar characteristics to myself and see where he ends up by the time I've completed the game.

I must say, that's a genuinely interesting idea. Hopefully, it's not just gimmicky, but that sounds pretty fun.

Still won't be getting it. Fable hasn't been fun for me since the first, so I'll need convincing.
You become the King of Albion and get to do what ever you want?

Won't pre-order, that's reserved for AC: Brotherhood, maybe Christmas with my mixing desk? Who knows..
