Sort of narrow minded don't you think? How did you buy games before demos were so plentiful?

Try them at a friends' house, display copies in various game stores, or take the risk. Recently though, I have less money than I used to, leading to me being more picky. Since none of my friends are interested in Prototype and it's unlikely that it'll be on display in stores due to it's rather violent nature, I'll wait for a demo to make my decision.

I don't think i'm gonna get it. I could get it for my PC, but i prefer those kind of games on consoles, and since it's not coming for wii, I don't think it's gonna happen.

Would've gotten it if i had a console that could play it.

It's not really narrow minded and I understand his way of thinking. These days games cost really much and they could be considered an investment. Now if you can't be certain without playing the game first (and honestly, we really can't be) it's totally understandable for a person not wanting the game.

Besides, there were demos out for playstation 1 as well. They just usually had to be bought with a magazine of sorts.

That being said, I'm not too kiddy about this game either. It looks like a game that is fun for a while, but after couple of hours it gets really repetitive.

By that logic, you should own about... 2 or 3 games.

And yes, I'm definitely going to purchase Prototype. I've been following this game since the very first announcement, and it does help that there haven't been a lot of worthwhile releases these past few months.

English version - available in pre-order for only 200 PLN on 12.06.09 (200 PLN = almost $61 or 44 EUR)

Polish version - available in pre-order (already did this) for 120 PLN on.... 26.06.09 (120 PLN = $36 or 26 EUR).

I mean, come on - English version that needs only importing from USA is $25 more than Polish version that needs a lot of work to translate it?*



*- Oh God, please, make them add a Polish patch and give us option of playing in English...

Little over a week? Maybe its a different date for us Brits, but I didn't know it was that soon.

Anyways. I want it. REAAAAAAAAALLY want it. It's by the same devs as Hulk: ultimate destruction, which was amazing, and it seens this time they're trying to make you feel like the ultimate badass. And if there's one thing i like to feel like, it's the ultimate badass.

I think, (don't quote me on this) there is no multi-player.

I think it's 12th of June for us Brits. As for multiplayer, I have heard co-op or some form of multiplayer will be DLC at a later date depending on sales. Don't hold me to this, I hope I wasn't being trolled lol.

For me it's the other way around. That's partly because I only started paying attention after the reviews started coming in for Infamous, and since they were pretty average I've pinned my hopes to Prototype.

I really hope it's got the feel of GTA, with superpowers.
It definately looks like a GTA from a "Hands-on" segment I saw on Xplay a while back.

Which isn't a bad thing...
