And before i commit to buying it, i was wondering what The Escapist community thought of it.
So roll up, and express your thoughts and ideas on this upcoming RPG.

I think it will be awesomely fun

I don't think i'm gonna get it. I could get it for my PC, but i prefer those kind of games on consoles, and since it's not coming for wii, I don't think it's gonna happen.

Would've gotten it if i had a console that could play it.

I am getting for my PC and just using the wired 360 controller XP

According to the people here and anyone else I have asked, all you do is plug in the usb controller, and install the correct drivers.

I haven't been this hyped up for a game in a long time. Since the game is coming out the day before my birthday, I will definitely be getting the game. All I've got to do now is decide if it's worth the extra £5 to purchase of steam (less aggravating drm and automatically upates to remove glitches).

all 360 wired are usb I think, just make sure it's microsoft and not some off brand shit. You install the drivers as soon as you plug it in. I think it is similar to some headsets in that aspect.

Both Windows Vista 32-bit and Windows Vista 64-bit are supposed to find the Xbox 360 controller drivers and install them automatically when you connect the controller for the first time. This doesn't always work flawlessly, so if this isn't an automatic process, the Microsoft Gaming site offers versions of the Xbox 360 controller drivers for all versions of Windows Vista as well as Windows XP.

I didn't own a PS3 until yesterday, so Prototype has been my shining savior of fun-tastic awesomeness that would save me from the not so shining, not-savior, of not fun, boredom. Especially since I shelled out 60 bucks for Red Faction and it ended up being completely repetetive shit.

But now I'm not so sure I'll be purchasing Prototype seeing as my funds are a tad low after that PS3 purchase. Hmm...orrr I could just trade it RE5 and RF:G to get P...

I must ponder this.

Is Prototype an rpg? I think it looks really cool. Open world and awesome powers and whatnot. Looks great.

No PC Demo = No Purchase, while I like the look of it, I really want to give the game a spin and see how it runs before committing ?50-60 to a purchase.

And since demo's are apparently not-done these days, I doubt I'll be getting this game.
Before you say: "Pirate it and find out if it works that way", no I won't.
By the time I've downloaded a pirated copy I might just as well not buy it and enjoy the free game, so I won't pirate it.
