I think it's more like Static the COMIC book hero, which was so far and away superior to that tragedy of a animated series. It was a great deal more serious, and a bit more graphic. Lol that was back during the Milestone D.C. attempt to create a "black comic book studio" which failed miserably when the top 2 characters were "Icon" (an mild mannered alien posing as a lawyer with extraordinary powers such as super strength, the ability to fly, and heat vision) and "Hardware" (a black inventor who worked for a top weapons manufacturing company that designed the ultimate cybernetic combat suit to fight evil). If those two descriptions sounded disconcertingly familiar, it's probably because they ARE.thel1st said:infamous is static shock the video game, i prefer cutting people in half

The only two original and DECENT series to come out of Milestone was Static, the story of a young boy who gets caught up in this event that throughout the entire Milestone D.C. universe was a common event that created Mutants... most of which who must now live in a world similar to the X-men universe where nobody cares that a character is "black" but he can climb walls? Oh no, he's less than human, string him up. This was most laughable in their X-men ripoff homage "Blood syndicate"... which involved a bunch of teenagers very similar in abilities to the X-men who were actually a GANG, caught up in the big bang (the event that created mutants in the Milestone D.C. universe), and so now you have this odd "x-men" type story where they are a street gang with super powers fighting OTHER street gangs... Mind you this is around 92-95, so most of it is written like a friggin early 90's gang movie... honestly it reminds me alot of San Andreas... with.. superpowers..
which.. is kinda like INfamous?
Ok that was a lame effort to justify this long ass post that has nothing to do on the topic...
