It didn't seem nearly realistic enough to feel creepy. More like an old doll with moving eyelids. The individual animations looked almost random.

Maybe they should KISS and simply make it play scripted animations for certain events, like "user talking", "user listening", "user eating cake", "user leaving the room".

Eaarg! Sweet Jebus, what is that?!

There is only one rational response...

I mean, the doll would be pretty creepy all on its own. The addition of flapping mouths and independantly moving eyes does not help.
Ah. What if the poor digital girl just has a twitch? A real bad one. You'll all make her feel bad. :(

Ha ha ha! Just kidding. However, the blame of her twitch would be her creators. Its not like the thing is choosing to do this.......o_O or is she?

A demonstration video shows a man and a woman chatting with each other, one as a humanoid panther and the other as the little doll girl that stalks me in my nightmares.
That made me laugh so much!

As silly as this seems. Imagine a game that used something like this to roughly determine what emotion to put on your avatars face, in a game like Team Fortress 2 for example.

I used to have a soul. Then I watched this video.
I now feel lighter.
Patant that and sell it as some sort of diet. I swear, you'll be a billionaire by the end of the month.

OT: Keep those things away from me! I've killed enough of the Left 4 Dead horde to know when something is without higher thought, and these things fit that bill.
