PS3 Games

Having bought an xbox 360 about 2 years ago, seeing how the games were better and had a better preformance. But seeing games like: Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Heavy Rain make me wonder if it's still worth getting a ps3?

I was tempted by God of War 3. But i was also tempted by MGS4. What i end up doing is playing them at a friends.

Maybe. Depends on how much exclusives are of intrest to you. If it's more than ten, you should go for it.

Well it's much cheaper now as well as having those great games you mentioned so if there's nothing stopping you money wise there's no reason not to.

The only reason I haven't got a 360 is because I haven't got any funds to spare for it.

The only ps3 exclusive I absolutely love is Ratchet and clank, and I still kinda regret getting a ps3.

However, if you're interested in those, then go for it.

Heavy Rain, MGS4, upcoming The Last Guardian and God of War III. Enough reasons to get a PS3. Totally subjective, but I like PS3 exclusives best.

but yeah, almost all the exclusives on ps3 are pretty good ie much better than comparative 360 exclusive games, and they tend to look a lot nicer too (see uncharted and heavy rain)

the internet browser doesent work worth a shit. crashes more often than a apple II with windows me and has all the plugin support of a gnat.

other than than, if there are games you want for it then go for it.

I have all three current-gen systems and a maxed out gaming PC. I'd say yes. Simply for Demon's Souls and the Ratchet and Clank series.

Edit: How could I have forgotten? Beautiful Katamari! It's a compilation of some of the best levels from the other 4 games.

PS3 is more reliable (My 360 has been bricked twice and it's an Elite) while my PS3 has been fine for longer. Also:

I don't know how much money you have in your wallet so I can't answer this question. I may get one way down the road, maybe. I don't see me ever going to Blue Ray so that isn't even a factor. I wouldn't buy one for three games (you listed three, I'm sure there's more you're insterested in, though). But if you can afford it, why not.

Yes, you should get a PS3. If you can afford get one, get one. The system has some great games and a Blu-Ray player to boot.

Definitely. Free online play = love. Extremely cheap bluray = love.
I reaallllyyy like that the discs are less likely to scratch in comparison to DVDs. Especially since my CDs ALWAYS seem to get scratched.
