Puberty: How did you react?

I don't remember much about puberty, but I do know that my pants were very uncomfortable from time to time when I was going through it. Eventually got sick of it and switched to boxers.
Age 10 I was 75 pounds, 4 foot 11 inches tall, with large ears. Looked a little like a Cuban spock.
Age 14 I was 230 pounds, 6 foot 7 inches tall, and I had a full beard; not that scraggly nonsense either but a close cut, black as sin, well maintained beard that I wear to this day and a moustache that would shame John Stossel.
The transition made me a favorite target among my peers in the Detroit public school system. After my friend pointed out that being afraid of people half my size was stupid I was able to correct the problem. Bless her heart, a friend will tell you to call the police or stay out of their way, but a true friend will give you the courage to stand up for yourself.
Since then I've lost some weight, done some learning, and discovered the glorious confidence booster that is the modern business suit.

With me, I went through puberty over the course of about three years (13-16, growth spurt, hair, voice breaking etc. etc.) so I hardly noticed it.
My first girlfriend, though, went through it at 12 and everything happened pretty much in one weekend... it was... rather surreal...

Puberty didn't exactly hit me hard. What's weird is I'm still going through some changes. While guys still growing in their early 20s isn't unusual, I'm still getting more body and facial hair, which is. Grr.
One good thing that came out of it, though, was my voice. Dear Lord do I love being a bass. Kind of incongruous with my spindly 5'7", 120 lb body, though.

when I was 9 I wiki'ed the ageing human body. So I predicted before hand and acted as if it was nothing. Saves my parents the time to talk about for my younger brother. I also predicted the angst I would feel when I hit 13-16 too. Knowing is half the battle a predictable cycle many have went through. Speaking of I should look for the next thing, ok 19+ I think the next situation is gonna be marrage...I should be fine everyone in my town is ether ugly,stupid,sluty, or all of the above.

Then there was the wait for my cycle. One time we had this toilet paper with red decoration and I recall using it like always but then when I got up and looked in the toilet, I forgot it had decoration and went through a few moments where I thought it had started.
So that was amusing.

Stuff happened and I couldn't have cared less. Puberty? If you ask me I didn't even have it because I haven't noticed anything (except for the body changes of course ^_^). But any mental or character changes? Never noticed it.

I despaired at the revelation that I was still the same 5'2" 98lb 14 year old boy on the outside. I went and found some photos from around the time I was 14. Sure enough, There I was looking exactly the same as I do now.
That was a sad day. The worst part was my grandmother telling me there was still time, that I still could have one more growth spurt. It's been 2 years since then and I'm still the same height. All my cousins are over six feet and my younger brother is almost there too.
So it stopped at around 14-15. Outside of the change to my build and genitals, and some new hair, I got little from puberty.

I can't let things go, I'm too self conscious, all kinds of other shit. Today I didn't even know what I was still depressed/frustrated about.

Not that bothered. The insecurity and sexuality parts suck but the worst bit was dealing with other people going through it. Fucking idiots.
I became annoyed with the fact I must constantly shave... aside from that didn't give too much of a fuss

When I discovered that, I realized other changes going on, but the daily fap-fests (at least 3-5 times a day) were the best parts. Though my parents were too weird about the sex talk so I learned everything about men, women, and sex from porn.
