Darn... the US only contests... I forgot that. That's really annoyingMonocle Man said:But they don't like PayPal either! This is very bothersome since I lack online-compatible credit cards.Virgil said:Because we don't want your credit card info, and Amazon is a trustworthy major retailer who happens to offer a nice third-party payment system. The other option was PayPal, but we don't like using them for various reasons.Demented Teddy said:I've never been on Amazon.com before, why do I have to join that to subscribe for the premuim membership thing?
Also regarding your special publisher club contests. Do note that those contests may not leave people outside the US in the dark. Previous contests did that frequently if I recall correctly.

It kicks safari's ass in terms of speed, so it's all I'm going to be using anyway...
Everything you've mentioned is something that the people calling the shots have thought of, I assure youTylerBaumbarger said:I'm just saying, advertisers are less likely to work with sites with lower success rates and less ad views means less revenue from that source. If I wind up being right about the losses, I want Russ to buy me a puppy.Myan said:While your argument is mostly correct in theory, there is no site on the internet today, not even the IGNs of the world, that have a 100% fill rate all of the time. Meaning, 100% of the ad inventory is always sold. Though, I must admit, it'd sure be nice to have that "problem" here at The Escapist. Even if it does make my life rather hellish.
Did you check Account Settings?BlindMessiah94 said:I looked everywhere on my bloody profile and can't do see it.
Wouldn't this get into sticky legal situations as you're restricting access to a service that's been payed for? If someone posts porn you could hide behind the law as there are people under 18 who browse the site. Legally though, if someone hurts someones feelings and their account is suspended you have no legal recourse to bar them access from the service they payed for.Virgil said:Not unless you do something so terrible that we actually have to disable your account completely. That's very very rare though. Posting porn would do it, for example.Delusibeta said:Question which must be answered: Will the premium features be affected if my account gets suspended/banned/deleted?
Publisher's Club members don't get any special reprieve from moderation though. All normal rules still apply.
