The DLC for MW2. I spent 25 bucks on it and played for about two days before i went back to Halo.

Mass Effect, Dragon Age: Origins, Diablo and Diablo II come to mind. Horribly boring games.

X-Squad for the PS2.
I bought it because I was looking for a third game to be part of a 3 for 2 deal, believing it to be a bit like the Conflict games.

What I got was a functional but obvious piece of crap.

Borderlands and Two Worlds.

I knew I didn't really want them! Thankfully Borderlands was only £6.

HAWX 2 pre-ordered on Steam. Gears of War PC. And a lot of cheap 5$ games I've got.
Barely averted with RE4 on PC, thank god for mods.

I have to wonder what some people think when they buy games and cannot finish the first level.
What exactly were expecting from the game, that was completely demolished in front of you within the first five or so minutes?

OT. I'd say Dawn of War: Platinum Edition. Not because it is bad, but because the only reason I bought it was for the Dark Crusade Expansion, and the Disk was fucked so only Dark Crusade wouldn't install.

Hmm. I'm going to say Star Ruler. Bought it because it was on preorder sale and it looked like SoaSE... boy, that was wrong. Half-finished (literally), slow, buggy, turn-based strategy game with no singleplayer campaign (the single point in which it matched SoaSE)... sad.

Arcania Gothic 4

The animations are terrible (understatement), voice acting is sub-par, story is predictable and the quests are confusing and boring.

Also Halo ODST, seeing as I realised I didn't have Xbox Live Gold halfway home from the shop.

Fable 3. I dunno, I don't like the first half, because it seems like you always have to rush to get more followers, and I don't like the second half because all you do is either approve or deny some stupid thing like turning an orphanage into a brothel. (WTF)

X3 Reunion

I completley didn't realise what kind of game it was. I thought it was a kind of Empire-building space management sim

Well fallout 1 and 2 since they didn't work but I fixed it so that doesn't count... hmm... Oh, I know Spore. My friend said that was the best thing ever since blow job and cookies but I realized it was so shallow and King Arthur the Role Playing game. I had to redo it so many times because you have to do the missions in a certain order or you will get fucked over by a extremely hard difficulty.

I once mistakenly bought a map pack for Bioshock 2 when i was after the single player dlc.
I still haven't even touched the Multiplayer yet, but beat the single player main story a couple times.

Fable 3.

Played for about 2 hours before I headed back to the store and traded it for Fallout: New Vegas.

My local movie store (since closed) used to have these "Buy 4 for $20 or $7.99 each" deals. Since I buy my movies in bulk I often had to throw in a crap movie or two to get the deal. So I wind up with movies like A Cinderella Story and Howling 3: The Marsupials that I regret buying, owning, and watching, in that order.
I read the first sentence and thought tell me you didn't buy three films. It turns out it was even worse!

Mass Effect.

Boring. Just so boring. Couldn't bring myself to play beyond the first level.
*hides behind flameshield*
I dunno, I kinda agree. It was hard to see and not sure where to go...

PowerDrome on the PS2. Not worth the $2 I paid.
Savage Moon on PSN. Decent, but I got a better tower defense game for free sooooo...
Spore. DRM messed up my PC. And it still won't run properly
Oddworld: Abe's Odysee on the PC. It wasn't the same as Munch's oddysee (screw you, I liked it. Having hamsters eat people was fun.) which I had played fist. It was fun, but just wasn't the same. But then I got if for free on PSplus, and it goes a bit smoother. I know what system Exodus is being downloaded to.
KOTOR2. It just wasn't the same!

Buying indigo prophecy on steam, knowing that I would probably never finish it, since I already knew the entire plot. I still can't explain why I bought it. Certainly not for the gameplay.
