Sci-Fi just might not be your thing. It's alright not to like Mass Effect - personally I love the series to death, but it is heavily sci-fi and the first game takes a long time to get going - the first one or two hours of that game are pretty damn dull, even in my book.Singularly Datarific said:*hides behind flameshield*Jonny49 said:Activates Flame Shield
Mass Effect.
Boring. Just so boring. Couldn't bring myself to play beyond the first level.
I dunno, I kinda agree. It was hard to see and not sure where to go...

Kudos to Korolev for realising this.Korolev said:Don't hide behind flameshields. It's cool not to like a series. Everyone's different, with different tastes.
No, I love sci fi, I just don't like games that take 3 hours to start rolling.Korolev said:Sci-Fi just might not be your thing. No, they were actually really boring. The gameplay itself. Mass effect and DA:O had wonderful storylines (from what I've heard), but the gameplay, although good, was just far too repetitive in DA:O's case, and just not satisfying in Mass Effect's. It seems like it should have been fun, and I can't figure out why I didn't find it so. This is my opinion, obviouslyMerkavar said:Trollie McTroll trollKajt said:Mass Effect, Dragon Age: Origins, Diablo and Diablo II come to mind. Horribly boring games.

Don't get me wrong, I love sci-fi it's just Mass Effect doesn't do anything to grab my attention. They just talk and talk and talk about stuff that really ins't remotely interesting and the "action" that wasn't intense.Korolev said:Sci-Fi just might not be your thing. OT: No doubt there've been a myriad of snacks I've bought through the years that I clearly did not want in the least, but hell! If I have money!
As for games? Guitar hero 3 - I played the first many years ago with friends and LOVED itI figured I'd be able to relive the experience. The game itself wasn't all bad, but because of the expectations, it crushed my dreams and I was left distraught.
