I have a PC, 360 and PS3 . I generally buy a PC version of a game whenever possible because if its a decent port the graphics are usually better and the loading times much shorter since my PC's hardware is newer than the two consoles.

I tend to buy American Games for Xbox and Japanese Games for PS3. Though I find myself PC gaming more now, like XCOM I got off Steam.

See, if I got Skyrim for PS3 I would be kicking myself.

I don't have a Wii YET, but I would only get exclusives on it.

If it'll run as well or better on my PC then that's what I go for, otherwise it depends on various stuff - developer, type of game, exclusive content, who I'll be playing multiplayer with etc.

I loved my 360 and have had one since about 06' but then red rings happened...twice...then I went back to it a couple of years ago because I hated how every game had to be loaded onto a PS3's hard drive before I could play them. Anyway, I've been seeing more and more flaws in the 360 the longer I've had it. I hate how I have to be online to access some of the content I bought in the past (and full games I've bought in the past)*. Also see XBLG as a rip off since other console ports of online games can be played online without the subscription. I remember having a better connection on TF2/Orange Box with my PS3 than the 360 for example.

As for the PS3, I dislike the controller. This is probably because I went from PSX to Xbox when I was younger and honestly can adapt pretty easily (much to the chagrin of my friend who owns Sony All-Stars Battle Royal). I haven't played many PS3 exclusives but I agree that even though some PS3 exclusives turned out going multiplatform, it still has some really good looking exclusive franchises. I still have my blu-ray player and plan on grabbing Sly 4 once that's out. Also, PSN+ is the absolute best online model I have seen for any console.

I love my Wii U and am glad I waited on Mass Effect and Arkham. Darksider's II is probably going to be the next multiplatform title I grab for my U (although I'm tempted by Need for Speed...not my preferred genre but tempted). Some of the U ports are kind of head scratching though...well no just one: Why is Amazing Spider-Man being ported!? I didn't realize it was that much of a commercial success.

As for the Wii...it had Nintendo stuff. I'm building my collection of games from the last few years and am kicking myself for not grabbing Zack and Wiki sooner. I'm having a lot of fun with Xenoblade and Last Story and can't wait for Pandora's Tower. Honestly I've had more time with Wii exclusives than PS3 exclusives so I like them a bit more. Nothing against Nathan Drake but I prefer Kirby and Little Mac.

[sub][sub]*I literally can't play Mass Effect on my 360 because of DLC. I bought DLC back when I lived in a place with good internet and have since been unable to connect any of my consoles to the internet. I've been completely locked out of playing ME1 unless I want to go in and start a new game which I really would rather not do. I like the game but I've already spent hundreds of hours on 3 full campaigns and another 3 or 4 partially completed ones...[/sub][/sub]

Mostly get games for my PS3 due me preferring the controller and not having a good a good enough PC, the only time the Ps3 has failed me is with skyrim but that was more Bethesda than me...

I usually buy everything on PC. It tends to be cheaper and more convenient for me, especially since the consoles are technically my little brother's so I don't get the chance to play on them as much. The consoles aren't connected to HDTVs, either, which makes some games much more awkward to play than they should be.

If the game doesn't have a PC port but was released on the PS360, I'll normally buy the PS3 version because our 360 isn't connected to the internet meaning we can't get patches and shit. The only exception to this is when the game is noticeably superior on the 360. I'm buying Bayonetta for the 360, for example.
