No, I haven't bought a Treyarch Call of Duty and I don't intend to.
CoD 4 was my first, then I got Modwern Warfare 2, sold it back because it was awful and went back to CoD 4, because it's less awful.

I play it quite a bit. I like it, even though it's generic, I think it's fun. That's all that matters.

I've never found the CoD series in general appealing, most of the time it seems bland and over hyped.

I also find it funny that such a large number of people on the escapist have no interest in it.

Yes, frequently. Unlike MW2, I actually find myself having fun, too, which is a surprising change, and a welcome one!

Oh, on the 360

I was really excited to play Black Ops as it looked very promising...
...that is until I actually played it.

I hate it.

I'm not looking at the PS3 or 360, from what I've heard and played they're pretty nice.
The PC version wasn't fun at all. Any complaints I had about MW2 were instantly gone.

This. Black Ops is a really good FPS for those who like the style. But a lot of people don't like the style. To each his/her own.

Only played it for a couple of hours, most dissapointing CoD game ever imo.

Funny how the rest of the Escapist feels that way.

Used to, glad I traded it in.
Campaign was alright, multiplayer was boring as hell after a week, although the wager matches were pretty jazzy.
I like FPSs but COD... myeh did nothing for me.
First and last COD game.

I played in on the 360, it held my interest for about a month.

It doesn't have the variety of Halo, and thus lacks the lasting appeal.

Honestly, I prefer AC: Brotherhood's multiplayer component.
