Which computer? I've got one with Vista and XP, two with Windows 7, and one with Linux and XP. The one I use for gaming, though, is the Vista one (except for older games, which I generally try to run in XP).

Vista 64bit on my PC, Vista 32bit on my Laptop. Haven't had any problems with either of them just had to tweak a little and disable some of thsoe annoying security things. So far I haven't seen anything 7 can do that vista can't

I chose Other because my home PC runs a heavily customised Windows 7 Ultimae and the school PC runs Windows 7 Ultimate which is customised quite a lot to. The school PC also runs Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat"

Vista. I'll have to change when I buy a new laptop..but for now it's serving me well. I still think XP is the most reliable though. Pity it's getting phased out.

Windows 7 64 bit, love it, runs games great, no issues -Desktop
Windows XP 32 bit on laptops, they are running fine, but if one starts to act up, ill probably end up putting some form of unix on it
Had Windows XP 64 bit on the desktop b4 windows 7 was fully released, wow that was horrible, no issues i could definitively pin on the os, but had more issues while running that then any other os
Cant wait for the Chrome notebook to be release though, tahts all i really need for my laptop
avoided Vista like the plague
i would do mac, but if its a gaming grade computer, it needs windows 7 (dx 11 and game compatibility), and if its not, why not just go linux, its free, runs on lower grade hardware, and runs faster

Triple-boot Ubuntu, XP and Snow Leopard on my MacBook.
The netbook my girlfriend is borrowing indefinitely triple-booted Ubuntu, XP and Snow Leopard hackintosh, but I disabled the Mac OS on it for her. Her laptop was running Vista and, by running, I really mean at best walking. So I made it dual-boot Ubuntu and XP.

Vista was a cluster, at least on install. I put it on my quad-core that I built a few years back and it had one of the cores spinning at like 80% doing absolutely nothing. Rather than spend time tweaking and optimizing a system that by all accounts was still more bloated than XP (at the time, I hear now on some of the Vs threads that Vista when pared down is minutely faster than XP) I just deleted the partition. I haven't even tried Win7 because I don't need to upgrade for any reason.

I'll upgrade Windows past XP when:
1) a version of DirectX higher than 9.0b is REQUIRED
2) I build a desktop that will play a game that meets the above

Until then, XP works fine.

Windows 7 64bit Professional. I got it cheap through University when I bought my new PC (which came with Vista).

I love it, and find it easy to use and reliable. Also it's great for gaming as it has DX11 whereas XP only has DX9.

Desktop (that I use): Windows 7 64bit Pro
Laptop (that I use): Windows 7 32bit Home Edition
Desktop (collecting dust): Windows XP 32bit Pro
Laptop (broken): Windows XP 32bit Home Edition (might throw Win7 32bit Pro on there if I ever get around to fixing it since it is free)

Windows Vista Home Basic 32bit.

I won't bother to upgrade until I buy a new computer.

I'd love to run a Linux distro, but it's far, far too limited for my gaming needs.
Too bad really.

Win7 64bit on PC, Win7 32bit on laptop, upgraded from XP and Vista respectively, laptop came with Vista, but in University I discovered I could get both versions of Windows 7 for free, legally, from the Microsoft Academic Alliance
