Don't even play WoW. I make an effort to avoid games that you have to constantly pump money into. Don't have the time to be THAT strapped into a game, even if it is good.

The barrens isn't going away. It's going to be a place to level in cataclysm soooo...Barrens is back baby ! Barrens - Because Chuck Norris is that cool and your mom is that easy =D

I think the change will reflect the true heart of the barrens. Not that I ever leveled there I always leveled in the eastern kingdoms.

I can barely remember the place. I can't really say I will be sad to see the place go. I am also a retired player so I won't see the new Barrens when it comes out.

R.I.P Barrens. I shall remember you fondly. IMO, it was the best leveling area before you hit 40. If I had trouble grinding something all I had to do was give a shout out and someone would come help me. It'll be sad to see it go..

There's not much in The Barrens besides the occasional "Mining" or "Herbalism node" if you select your character correctly (Alliance, waka waka) so no, I won't miss it that much...

Well, that's to say it's going anywhere. With all of that updated content, I imagine it'll become an ever bigger hotspot then it once was.

For once the poll options offered are actually varied enough, as for me I never played WoW.

No one quests anymore because of that damn LFG system (they should disable it til you reach the level cap really but that's just me, being the squinty eyed old codger I am)

I used to be an ol' vet also, I came back recently (and quit again because it started eating my soul once again) and was blown away by the lfg system also. I see where you're coming from but I loved just being able to say "BACK IN MY DAY WE DIDN'T HAVE THIS FANCY OL' LFG SYSTEM. If we wanted to do a dungeon we RAN there and we put together a team ourselves!"

Preach it brother.

But really there has to be a way people are still interested in questing, whats going on right now Is just sad.

There are still plenty of people who quest. Those who are new to the game find dungeon running to be something to be feared and usually resort to questing rather (and sometimes even grinding) rather than the faster dungeon system.

Also I think Cataclysm is going to increase interest in questing.

I'm going to miss the place, I love venturing in there and having fantastic conversations with some really cool people, new players will never know true happiness.
