I already quit it, but came back to it after a month. It was a planned return though, and I quit it cause I was spending way too much time (and energy and creation) on it. And I wanted to test my will.

Had to learn some self-control... I wonder if I'm better now, hehe. I sure click "Sign out" more often though. :p

ALSO, Facebook once suspended my profile for almost a month. I was nice, cooperated, and defended myself, so they apologized and restored my profile. Cool folks, those Facebook guys.

On accounts of privacy: I've set almost all the options to "Only friends" or even stricter now. Periodically, I relax privacy a bit if there are people who'd like to see a photo album of mine or etc., a note I've published.

I also quit played games on Facebook and have removed/blocked the vast majority of applications. There's only one I use, can't remember the name but I use it to keep track of my books, games, movies, etc.

Peace out.

Never had one, but I will quit someday... after I make one.
But define quit. Do you mean just stop using it and let your profile slip away (As I have done with many social networking sites) or deleting your profile altogether? I doubt I would ever delete my profile conciously, I would probably leave it incase I ever wanted to use it again so as to keep all my contacts.
Most likely though, I'll make a Facebook account (probably during the summer) and I'll probably leave it after about a year or so.

I do use it, but bearing in mind that I live in what I would politely call "the sticks", it is handy if I need to get a hold of someone. I certainly don't worship it, but have no intention to quit. Yet.

These quizes never have a "just right" reply for me. Truthfully I'm considering leaving FB now after only a couple of weeks. The initial excitement of chatting with old friends from High School has subsided and all that's left is a bunch of people asking me for farm favors.

I use it on a semi-regular basis. It has some really good clones of retro games (seriously, try Tetris Friends - see, not all Facebook games are crap! Just Zynga and their hanger-on clones...). I also use it because I need to keep in touch with people in my university societies, and now I'm on the committee of one of those I'll be using Facebook even more on society business. And it's useful for keeping track of events and things, like friend's birthdays or whatnot.

Aside from that, and limited socialising with friends on the site, I don't use it that much. As far as quitting it goes, I doubt I'd do that unless it suddenly became obsolete and something better came along that everybody jumped onto (no, not Twitter...). I used to use Myspace in the same way I now use Facebook. Now? Who seriously still uses Myspace, except for indie bands and their fans?

I check my messages on there once every couple of months or something. I'm just too lazy to delete it...

I only got one because of friends and family dogging me constantly to have one. I don't even use it.

Honestly,
I never signed up to it.
I already had/have a Myspace page I completely ignore, so I figured why bother with it.

I could live without it, but I wouldn't quit unless there was another better social networking option (that the majority of my friends also used). There are plenty of things that I dislike about facebook, but it's a handy way of keeping in contact with my friends and keeping up with what's going on.

Terrible poll. I'd like to say "No, why would I?".

It's a useful tool. I can live without it and I certainly wouldn't feel the need to immediately switch to a new social networking site if I couldn't use Facebook anymore.
However, it helps me keep tabs on old friends I don't get to see all the time. You might say if I can't be bothered to visit them or call them occasionally is it worth keeping contact with them? I say, yes, absolutely.

I only made an account because my sister forced me to. Actually she made the entire thing. I just changed the details to being isolationist and the profile picture is an awesome face.

And yes, I quit it. Not sure if it's dying though.

I don't see what the big deal is. I don't post anything on there I did not want the world seeing in the first place. It is the internet, not a diary you keep in your sock drawer.

I'd quit, but that would take effort. In fact I've got a minute I'll do it now. I already have my Facebook Badge.
