Needs an 'eventually' option, because at the moment I need it for the sports team I'm in but I don't use it religiously
Same as except its not for a team but rather because of the way my friends live (different towns in the same area) we kind of need it for big plans. I mean I don't use it religiously either but its pretty helpful communicating to a large group of people in one go. Also I use it to reconnect with old friends. But I'll eventually end up dropping it.

I have no need to quit really, I don't use it much at all, but its convenient if i need to get in touch with someone.

It's too convenient to see any reason to stop using it, I don't have a single picture uploaded I just use it for the chat. (and stalking)

Yes, but I don't really see the need for doing so.

I like to keep in contact with local and long distance friends and relatives, so what?
No reason to quit.

I guess I can see people feeling insecure about the privacy policies, but they don't both me in any way.
I don't have much to hide.
Plus, this poll is applied to everyone whom has used Facebook before, because the writer was curious to know after the whole "privacy fiasco."
Saying you've never used it before doesn't really apply to the recent events, but is okay to state it. Begging for the poll option will get tiresome.

EDIT:

The poll is awfully biased.
Not everyone loves facebook out of those who use it.
Whoever writes these "Voice of the people" questions should do a better job.
The question was, "Would you quit." Not, "Du yew leiky teh FacEboOk?!?!!"

Despite the outcry surrounding Facebook's questionable privacy policies, Quit Facebook Day flopped in a big way. Would you quit Facebook? Why or why not?

1) Already did. -Meaning "The privacy policies or other issues bugged me enough to leave."

2) Only if there was only social networking site. -Meaning "The issues somewhat irritate me, but I will only go if my friends will."

3) I can't live without it. -Implying humor, but meaning "It is too much of a hassle to switch or I find no problem with it."

Where is this biased, again?
There is no "yes" option as in "If trends continue and the privacy problem gets even worse, I would go"

This is definitely a good question. I go on and off of it. Depends on whats going on in my real life I guess.

I was a bit dishonest. I voted that I quit, when in fact I hate facebook but still keep my profile around for keeping in touch with certain people I otherwise wouldn't be able to. Other than that, I'm on Facebook against my will by my family.

This poll needs more options, specifically an "If they started charging for the service." option. Or something of the like. Because currently it's not a problem to have a facebook account, and it's even a little useful for actual networking(shocking isn't it?)

We need an option for someone who could easily get up and just walk away and never give a damn again. To be honest I only have one because my best friend made me get one. She did the same when myspace was popular, I'm kind of used to it.

But how is that biased?
Seriously, not trying to be mean; I'm just not seeing it.

EDIT: I'm not saying you are wrong. There should be a "yes" option.

Email still seems to work pretty well for me so I can't imagine quitting FB would be something I'd much notice.

Would you call "completely losing interest five minutes after the wife convinced me to make a profile, then logging in once every three months or so to look at it for 30 seconds" quitting?

If i ever had one id probably forgot about it after a while or just quit it right after first 3 random unknown people with stupidly looking avatars PMed me, so rather quickly.
My real life friends, i can call, my net friends i can contact through IMs, dont see a point of using another service that also hosts my personal data. Plus, why the hell would i want to share whatever im doing on there? Im old-school i guess since i actually do prefer face-to-face conversations.
