Gotta go with the Sith on this one. Sorry Jedi, time to take you all down a peg.

I find that it is so enjoyable to be evil in starwars. Not only is it fun but they always have the cooler force powers in my opinion like choke, lightning and others. Being the republic does give me the warm mushy feeling of being good but why have that when you can have the pure satisfaction of choking someone by thee throat and chucking them off a cliff.

At least for my first character, I'm all about the Smuggler. Go Republic!

I'd be intereseted to see how these responses broke down along country lines.

When I played Star Wars: Galaxies (Back when it was new and good) the majority of Europeans played Empire and the majority of Americans played Rebel.

I took one look at the sith inquisitor page and just fell in love with the class. I intend to melt many a face come launch.

Initially, Sith. I would rather play with the gankers than be one of their targets.

But I'll wind up playing both factions, like I do every other MMO. I have no sense of loyalty to one side or another, pisses off my friends who are all "For the Horde!" and "Alliance Ho!". One side is just as douchy as the other.

Republic. Why? I LIKE the 12 attacks per round that Master Valour/Master Speed/Flurry gave me in KOTOR, and while lightning is nice and all, shield is better.

Well, since it looks like the Sith are actually underdogs right now, I'll join up with the baddies.

I'm a sucker for the underdogs.
