Apple may control means of getting information, but Google is the evil entity that controls the information itself. Which do YOU think is more dangerous...

Also, I'm not so sure the world wouldn't be better off belonging to Nintendo. It would certainly be more enjoyable and family-friendly.

Google. I even heard they have their own religion out there. It's only a matter of time.

In 2012, Apple will hold its biggest conference ever. It will introduce their new groundbreaking technology that will affect everyone in the world... and they will announce that they are officially changing their name to Skynet.
And then their presentation blue screens and the world implodes...

I'm pretty sure it has already obtained some sort of dark super-sentience, so Google.

Why is Nintendo even in there? They do games, period. And not even good ones anymore. They basically a game company that runs on gimmicks and fanboys, while every other company up there has both way more reach and power.

For my money, Google. Either Google or Microsoft, they're the only ones with any power/influence to pull something like that off.

Hmmm... seeing how Google already has the most popular search engine and video site, they already own 1/4 of the world. What would be really scary is if they somehow bought Wikipedia. THEY WOULD CONTROL ALL KNOWLEDGE!!!

None of the above. The following companies currently own 98% of all media outlets and are in a far more reasonable position to take over the world:
Viacom, Time Warner, Bertelman's, Newscorp, Disney and the mack-daddy of all of them: General Electric.
If I had to say a company was going to take over the world, I'd probably say GE. Not only are they the largest producers of electronic devices, and the owners of about 30% of all media outlets, they're also the largest manufacturer of weaponry in the world. They scare the shit out of me, and they have the means to take over the world.
