Other, only because there is no None option, and of all the people in the world to base an MMO of those are some of the worst. I would sooner rip out my eyes then even sit through a trailer.
My logical side agrees with you, and that your post being the first post too, should be tread/

But then right after you I see this:

Chuck Norris the MMO.
That would just split my sides with laughter to play. I'm not thinking a game where you create a character that lives in a Chuck Norris world, but a game were everybody is running around as Chuck Norris.

"Chuck Norris, we need you! Help!"

"I'm Chuck Norris!"

"No, I'm Chuck Norris!"

"You two are fakes, cause I'm Chuck Norris!"

"Well I'm more Chuck Norris than any of you!"

The Chuck Norris comes in to play his own game, and nobody believes it is him.
See there is a problem there, the real Chuck Norris would come in round house kick all the avatars into oblivion and leave ever player holding their stomachs in pain. There is only one Chuck Norris, Playing such a game would be dangerous to your health.
You said what I decided to leave out. I was going to say something similar, except I would have said "punched out all the other avatars with his beard fist."

None of the above. The obvious answer is the Spice Girls.

...now that I think of it, a Beatles or Rob Zombie themed MMO would make for decent games. Both have a wide variety of songs and their respective art styles would make things interesting and unique to the genre.

Wait a minute, wait a minute, now a MJ MMO is cool and all but I'd like to say that Beyonce had one of the best MMOS...

But no, I voted for Gaga because a pop art MMO could look neat and it would probably be somewhat pornographic.

My other vote, If I didn't feel like other was a cop out, would be a Joaquin Phoenix (bearded).
Or maybe Zach Galifianakis... whose last name spell check tells me is Egalitarianism

Either you guys are too young to know, or nobody thought of him yet, but I was thinking Bruce Campbell would be the perfect choice!
Bruce Campbell: World of Chincraft. We would need a new word for awesome.

If we're talking about an MMO based on the works, rather than the life, of a celebrity, then hands-down it has to be George Romero.

Adam Sessler. Seriously, he's too awesome not to get a MMO. Besides, he's a gamer, and he'll know how to make a game that'll possibly be decent and not... well... a Justin Beiber game.

It's time... for X-PLAY!

Teddy Roosevelt the MMO. You may look at him but you will never be as cool as him. Fun and educational.

Pretty much no one. Possible people though if I must, Quentin Tarentino or Tim Burton.

Deserve? They get paid millions per movie while most people will never see that kind of money. They don't deserve it anymore than anyone else.

Other; NONE of the above! For crying out loud, it's a dumb idea, and it's dumb with ANY celeb. MJ is about as good as they get, and he's not good enough to make an MMO out of.

[sub]maybe Ozzy. Maybe.[/sub]

Does Nikola Tesla count as a celebrity even though he's been dead for a while? If so, him. Would a Tesla-based MMO not be the greatest thing ever?
This. Very much this.

Once again the Escapist Staff proves that they are more interested in provoking their community than actually caring about their poll.

But since I'm here I might as well participate.
