Too cold is better. I've always preferred the cold. I hate the sun and its warmth. It's like my brain actually slows down in the hotter summer days. Whereas the times I was cold I can count on my fingers (which are not that many).

I would rather be too hot by a long shot, HOWEVER... The catch is I voted for the opposite because the cold you can always fight back, more blankets, more mittens, more fire...

The heat you have to live with there really isn't anything to do unless you have liquid cooling surgically crafted into your skin.

If you are cld, it's pretty easy to get warmer. f you are hot, it's pretty damn hard to get cooler short of stripping or electricity-guzzling.

Put simply:
Heat makes you go insane before you die.
Cold makes you numb and fall asleep.

Oh wow so many people agree with me. Maybe because it's because I live in phoenix, but my train of thought goes thus:

If you're too hot, there's only so much you can take off because you get to your skin. And you can't (shouldn't anyway) peel that off. Whereas if you're cold, you can continue to pack more clothes on. This logic fails in extremes (The Poles, northeastern parts of Russia, etc.)

When you're cold, you can produce heat. When you're hot, you can't produce cold.

I'd prefer being too cold. If it becomes unbearable, I could just wear more layers. The same isn't true of being too hot. I can't just remove some clothes. If it's not enough, then I'm screwed.

You can always put more clothes on when it gets chilly.

You can't always take clothes off if it's too hot, you'll run out of clothes fairly fast, plus if it's too hot, taking off clothes isn't going to do much anyway.
This, it is exactly what I was going to say. My dad told me this a long time ago.

Though I have encountered some smart mouth people that say, "Well what if you don't have anymore clothes?"

If it's too cold in an office, just get on your hands and pull twenty, or jump a few times in the spot, or do something else to heat up your bloodstream.

If it's too hot, you can't do anything against that. Nothing that provides the same lasting effect.

Too cold, easy. I love slightly cooler temperatures. Plus it's easier to warm yourself up then it is to cool yourself down.
