Rarest/Most expensive object you own

I have all of my Grandfather's medals from WW2, each in their original case and in mint condition.
I was told they were worth a hell of a lot, some of them are very prestigious. I will never sell them though, I look at them when I want to feel proud of being English, even though I had fuck all to do with them.

I don't have any rare or valuable things.
I have the original tekken game in it's original cardboard case from like 1995. There can't be that many of those left.

I have a signed script of Ghostbusters. Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis, and William Atherton. My father got it from a promotional thing way back before I was born. He sought out each actor and got them to sign it. When he died I got a trust fund and that script.
I think my Devil May Cry 4 Nero Figure imported from Japan. Can't remember how much that costed though. *shrug*

I think 'expensive' is a poor choice of criteria here. Price largely is simply a method of agreeing to a value what would be acceptable to the majority of people. Obviously, some would pay more (and thus EBay was born), and some would pay less, but it is used a measuring stick.
I mean, for example, I am a moderately successful professional, and have amassed savings, retirement, stocks, home, car, furnishings, electronics, etc. etc. probably to the tune of more than a million dollars (admittedly, more than half of that is the house and retirement accounts-- not exactly liquid assets, if you know what I mean)
But if someone said to me: "You can die, or you can walk away now with your wallet and one single thing," it'd probably be my wedding ring. It only cost a couple of thousand dollars: it is a one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted titanium and platinum band. But its value to me is so much more.

probably eater my grandpas congressional meddle of honor, or a pice of authentic Egyptian papyrus with some pretty cool drawings of the Nile on it, each are fairly priceless
