An old violin that my gradfather used to play as a kid during WWII? I don't know how old it is but I think he didn't get it new either, it is worth a few thousands if I remember correctly.
Maybe I should play it again sometimes...

I have all of my Grandfather's medals from WW2, each in their original case and in mint condition.

I was told they were worth a hell of a lot, some of them are very prestigious. I will never sell them though, I look at them when I want to feel proud of being English, even though I had fuck all to do with them.

I don't have any rare or valuable things.

I have the original tekken game in it's original cardboard case from like 1995. There can't be that many of those left.

I have a sword that's from a client of my dad's, he couldn't sell it so he gave it to us... It's something like an indian officers sword... I have no idea... It's probably not anything important, but even then, my rarest.

This object that you own could be sentimentally expensive or monetarily expensive and rare but I just want to know what yours is.

For me my rarest object would be one of the first buzz lightyear figures. because I have had it since I was like 2 and because its worth quite a lot now.
Not sure, I do not have many rare or expensive items really, so I would say a soul.

Cool, specially for me as I am a musician (pianist) and my brother is a violinist.
Keep it, and treat it well, that is a real treasure for us musicians, specially for being a violin of WWII.

My most expensive is my .50 BMG rifle at $3000 but my rarest is one of these because you can't find them where I live.

3 Damascus Steel Knives: 3" 5" 7" varieties = $1500 each(est.)
1 35" Blade Katana I had custom made in Japan = $7000 dollars in the drain
Now THAT'S expensive. I'd wish I had those two. Sadly I am poor.

I used to own one of those glass 7-Up tumblers that were shaped like upside down Coke tumblers. You know, back when the slogan was "The Uncola". It was broken by my friend when he hit it with a guitar. (Don't ask.)

I have a signed script of Ghostbusters. Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis, and William Atherton. My father got it from a promotional thing way back before I was born. He sought out each actor and got them to sign it. When he died I got a trust fund and that script.

I think my Devil May Cry 4 Nero Figure imported from Japan. Can't remember how much that costed though. *shrug*

Or I think it's my drum kit.

I think 'expensive' is a poor choice of criteria here. Price largely is simply a method of agreeing to a value what would be acceptable to the majority of people. Obviously, some would pay more (and thus EBay was born), and some would pay less, but it is used a measuring stick.

I mean, for example, I am a moderately successful professional, and have amassed savings, retirement, stocks, home, car, furnishings, electronics, etc. etc. probably to the tune of more than a million dollars (admittedly, more than half of that is the house and retirement accounts-- not exactly liquid assets, if you know what I mean)

But if someone said to me: "You can die, or you can walk away now with your wallet and one single thing," it'd probably be my wedding ring. It only cost a couple of thousand dollars: it is a one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted titanium and platinum band. But its value to me is so much more.

Oh, don't worry I will. We had it overhauled half a year ago for around 1000? and now it's completely shiny and as good as new.
I just feel it should be played instead of just sit in my closet, but the heat doesn't really help motivate me...

The rarest thing I own is a my collection of "Aliens" graphic novels. I have all of them with the exception of Sacrifice (which I had at one point but sold for some stupid reason).

The most expensive thing I own is probably my Mountian Bike. It just wins out over my 360, 37" HD TV and Arkham Horror Boardgame (that's one expensive boardgame!).
this but i have some predator ones to
