Oh yes... I did it for longer periods of time when I was younger, but I still always take a book or a newspaper with me.

I never stay at the toilet for more than 5 minutes unless I have some sort of stomach problem. Normally I'll be done in 1 or 2 minutes.
I never got why it was supposedly normal to bring reading material to the can. I get it now. Other people sit there for hours on end.

As part of having nine c*nting books this semester, I'm prone to reading everywhere, including the toilet. Helps me focus, too, in that I don't get distracted by my pc...like I am right now...

I always used to, but then I always ended up spending forever on the loo because my book's so interesting...
For the most part, I don't any more. If anything, I'll take a magazine or something.

I read scientific articles when they're available, usually though it's a handheld game or me thinking about what to do next in my comic.

Also, not sure why people think it's gross to play a game on the toilet, you know when my hands are clean during said gaming. But whatever it's fun and my handhelds are still clean.

If you regularly spend long enough on the toilet to read you should go and see a doctor or change your diet immediately (unless you want bowel cancer later in life).

Can't have a poo without something to do in there. Some of my best reading has been done on the toilet. I also take my guitar in there sometimes (acoustics are really good) and narate in the medium of song exactly what I am going through.

Depends on the severity of the gastrointestinal situation. If I fell it may take a while I grab a book, otherwise I don't bother.

But how do you know what situation will present itself before the point of no return? You must be some sort of lavatorial ninja

Always less than 1 minute. There's no point in me reading a magazine or anything. But I will read and send text messages quite often.

You shit and wipe and everything in less than a minute?

OT Well it depends, I usually take 3-5 minutes so It's kinda ointless. I do find myself ssitting on the the toilet after I am done when I take a book because the plot thickens

If I spend more than 2 min on the can it's because my stomach doesn't agree with me, I like to spend as little time on it as possible. So no time for reading.

One of my friends doesn't believe in pushing, so it takes AGES for him to finish up, he fears he might get a cerebral hemorrhage if he pushes.
