All the usual quotes that people want to have stuck on walls and drummed into kid's heads are from the old testament. For some reason. 
Yeah, really odd that people would decide to pay more attention to the bit that say's it's ok...nay, required, to kill all those dirty foreigners and take their stuff, rather than, "we should be cool to everyone". In fact also kinda odd that the church would decide to put that in the bible, despite Jesus specifically saying he was coming to wipe away the old testament and give a new one that superseded it. Also kinda odd that they left out all the gnostic gospels...All the usual quotes that people want to have stuck on walls and drummed into kid's heads are from the old testament. For some reason.
