Reasons for staying here?

My soul is trapped in the server.

As is mine.
Along with the soul thingy, it also had fun topics, forum games can be a laugh and it's just an all-round nice place. Add to this the people I see and speak to daily and have fun with makes it worth coming back here.

Well, at this point it's an addiction.
And it's one that I'm happy with, too.
It doesn't hurt that the people here are generally well behaved, and the mods are quick to step in when someone is misbehaving.

Just kidding, I saw you above while typing and jaw dropped at your post count. I remember it was 20k not too long ago, and you've posted more than I have in my entire stay here at the escapist in that time. Double congrats? And I agree, nice community, fast mods, etc.
