Oh good lord, that's got to be one of the most random and utterly pointless things I've ever seen. Thank god it's also hilarious.GrimTuesday said:It's honestly one of the funniest anime I have ever seen just by how ridiculous it is.TomLikesGuitar said:HOLY SHITGrimTuesday said:Cromartie High School its fucking helarious and each episode is only about ten minutes long.
It's the English dub but I think it's just as good.
FREDDIE FUCKIN MERCURY IS IN THIS ANIME
I LOVE YOU
I would like to appeal on that unwarranted Code Geass hatred.Dango said:1. I've already watched Soul Eater (as seen above)Ahlycks said:code geass, full metal panic, eureka 7.Dango said:Ignore
edit:Eureka 7 IS a love story, and full metal panic has allot of love stuff, through not centered around it. Code geass has some love stuff.
2. No! I will not watch Code Geass! From what I hear it's awfully similar to Death Note, which (as I said above) I absolutely hate.
Edit: It seems I qouted this without acctually saying anything, and now I can't remember what I was supposed to write. Fail on me.Zahri said:I would like to appeal on that unwarranted Code Geass hatred.Dango said:1. 2. No! I will not watch Code Geass! From what I hear it's awfully similar to Death Note, which (as I said above) I absolutely hate.
It has some very key instances, one being: The main character is not a megalomaniacal evil genius, he's a megalomaniacal GOOD genius who uses evil means on occasion.
Death Note revolves around an emotionless prick for the most part, while Code Geass is centered on a single minded man trying to reclaim what is his and set things right. Code Geass has a protagonist who has values, and feelings.
Without spoiling anything, Imho the ending is one of the best ones I know of from any medium.
Deathnote was quite literally just depressing, Code Geass, throughout all the amazing mech battles and deep story, still has lightheartedness about it.
As mentioned before, there are some love story side plots placed here and there as well.
I'd like to note that i am a fan of both, but Code Geass easily trumps Death Note, and i already hold Death Note in high regard.

Say that again after you've watched Sayonara, Zetsubou SenseiDango said:2. I'm not very into "dark" anime.
Well there is no real over arching plot... it's spread out between several arks each one dedicated to a different character, to help establish them better, plus in between episodes, containing their own story, that serve little purpose but are very entertaining non the less... if anything the only real plot revolves around each characters past catching up to them so there isn't much to spoil... I still say watch it because it's just so cool...Dango said:I would, except I've already accidentally clicked on enough spoilers of it to know the entire story without even seeing one episode of it.TomLikesGuitar said:Ok so I noticed you don't have Cowboy Bebop on your list. It is quite possible to watch Bebop and swear off of all animes because you know nothing will ever compare, but it really is the best so yeah... watch it.
From what I have seen from Higurashi, I'm not too impressed. Umineko on the other hand I needed to watch from start to finish.Grayjack said:Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. It's a psychological thriller with some pretty bloody parts. If you can stomach it, I recommend it. But stay away from Umineko. I hear the anime adaption sucks a big one.
