nope, it's supposed to be a darkly funny image. The entire fallout series is ment to have an air of dark humor, but most of it was lost in fallout 3, so I'm not suprised a lot of people are feigning shock over this.

People are way too sensitive these days, or hypocriticly sensitive at any rate. I remember when fallout 3 was first released, and some folks were saying on the official forums that the developers didn't have any balls because you could kill everyone that wasn't involved in the plot except the kids, and a lot of people responded, calling them "violent monsters who probably wanted to kill kids in real life"... the SAME people who were playing a video game where you can nuke a bunch of innocent people (including the children living there), commit genocide, and beat desperate beggers and innocent people to death with a wrench or pipe as they scream. The SAME people who also probably beat hookers and ran over old ladies in the GTA games too.

Oh wow, looks like you really like killing kids in games and feel like you have to defend it.

Go play Fallout 1 and 2 if you're feeling that special urge of yours. I'm sure they'll satisfy.

I'm too busy kicking pregnant women in the stomach to play games!

Being of the religious type, while I can see people would go crazy over it, it's fallout. What the hell does anyone expect? Like, even a mother would go off on the whole post apocalypse thing and most likely not even notice that.

I do love how he said "I can't believe I drew this" when looking at it. You did man, you did.

I actually think it's pretty good. The subject matter of the drawing is negative, but the director asked for a very negative image by requesting a "Child Killer" icon.

Good call pulling it perhaps, but if the perk (or whatever) is still in the game (I don't remember if it is, I doubt it though), it should have had that image.

it is offensive in what it depicts. but in the context of the game it perfektly fits...and not to mention that the Vault Boy just doesnt bring that anger in me no matter what it does....its just a funny pic to me. Rly funny one at that -_-`

Back then abortion wasn't such a serious issue so I doubt the image would have gotten much negative feedback back then.

It's true that abortion wasn't quite as much of a hot button issue back then, but it's still a cartoon of pregnat woman getting kicked in the stomach. I think it still might have offened a few people.
