Well, I currently have extremely strong feelings that I believe they share for me as well.

So...yeah. My first real success in any relationship.

Hurray... I guess...

What do you mean, more or less?
were not first cousins...
So?
You're dating your cousin, I see nothing wrong with that.
my fears more or less have to do with how my family would accept the fact that we are dating... not so much that we are cousins because I couldn't care less about that... I have a conservative and religious family...
Do you live in the South?
no, I live in California but most of my family including my parents are from Texas...

I think the greatest success I've had is in my current relationship, where we're able to bounce back from low times, and where we both realize that our honeymoon period is over, and can still be with each other despite the lack of wuvy-duvy blissful feelings. They're still there, and there is passion- but nowhere near as frequently, but its realistic, I feel proud in it, that it's past a physical, pleasurable time to the point where she is becoming part of my life, not just my sex life or something.

That and for the last 18 months, we have been together through some hard times and bad arguments, yet still at the end of a long work week, can still get together and rip each other's clothes off.

I honestly do not know where I was going with the South comment.

No, not at all, sorry if you took it that way. Again I don't know what I was going at with the comment.

I had a thread like this before and I guess people are a lot more negative at 3 am. Good job bro, it takes balls to ask a girl out. I did the same thing and got the same result! Internet high five wherever you are (face canada)!

I had a girlfriend who only went out with me for the dates (ex: movies, dinner, etc.) Once the dates became less frequent she broke up with me, got with my friend, and eventually moved away. A couple of weeks later I got a call from her asking if I would get back together with her. Naturally I rejected her (there's the success)

And just what is wrong with the back waters of Florida? Gator meat is mighty tasty (when I still ate meat).

Yay congrats! I met and asked out this girl a couple of weeks ago. She said yes, but we go to different schools and have different holidays and haven't seen each other since. :( But she said yes, and things are looking good for the future. XD
