I facepalmed when Nintendo announced it, I'll be facepalming if this rumor is true. Just give me a damn gamepad that is normal.
From the look of the preview and dev beta builds so far the touch screen stuff is there and on constantly, theres a way to disable it via screwing with the registry but that will likely change as its a beta.SmashLovesTitanQuest said:Well, the question is whether they are including touch screen support or building the entire OS/the entire controller around touchscreen. No prizes for guessing which one would make me rage hard. If its just including support then who cares? It will be like voice commands in Windows 7. They are there, but no one uses them and no one needs to.ash-brewster said:If this is true then I wouldn't be that surprised , MS are trying to cram touch screen into everything nowadays it seems. Even in windows 8 which is just... strange. Touch screen works fine on phones and tablets but not so well on consoles and PCs.
Same for me, personally I think I will be sticking with 7 since there is no need to upgrade unlike with XP to vista/7 and I can see a lot of other people doing the same. Heck some people are still swearing by XP.SmashLovesTitanQuest said:I hope they include the option to keep the old taskbar somewhere. I dont think I can live without it.ash-brewster said:From the look of the preview and dev beta builds so far the touch screen stuff is there and on constantly, theres a way to disable it via screwing with the registry but that will likely change as its a beta.SmashLovesTitanQuest said:Well, the question is whether they are including touch screen support or building the entire OS/the entire controller around touchscreen. Plus they have totally removed the windows button on the desktop and the start menu in favour of the MAC style app screen/tiles. Its like they are trying to piss people off .
More like "rumour."Saucycarpdog said:http://www.computerandvideogames.com/335369/xbox-720-has-wii-u-touchscreen-controller-report/
Well, if this is true, it means that microsoft is copying nintendo......again.
I have nothing against XP per say it was and still is a very good and stable OS. Technology has left it in the dust though sadly. The one thing that does bug me are those guys who go apeshit for using 7 not XP.SmashLovesTitanQuest said:I swear I would still be using XP if some of the newer games were compatible. Took a while for me to leave it. Still, I have to admit 7 is better. But it took a lot to get me to switch.ash-brewster said:Same for me, personally I think I will be sticking with 7 since there is no need to upgrade unlike with XP to vista/7 and I can see a lot of other people doing the same.
