anyone else feel tha the Gmod in red faction 2 was non-existent? i mean in red faction 1 you could go mining in multiplatying and dig out entire new sections to play in but in 2 it was all just cosmetic damage. i didn't like 2 and i played 1 a lot more then it and now i got 3 and i play that a lot.

looking back on it, 3 still wasn't as good as 1. you could blow buildings to bits but no matter what the ground remained perfect.

Rare, as a company, and their games. They're such a joke now. I'll never forget their incredible N64 titles, but now they're slaves to the Kinect overlords.

Main problem with that is that the team that worked on the n64 games aren't in Rare anymore but yeah their games went downhill after microsoft bought it from nintendo(kind of ironic).

Well to stay ontopic:
Baten Kaitos 2 (probably not played by many since not released everywhere and where it was it was at the deathbed of the cube): They tried to make the combat easier by having one deck of cards for the team and not a deck for each character. It made the game more annoying since your hand get cluttered with finish moves that you can not use since you do not draw any normal movement cards.

Zelda Twilight princess : The dungeons got easier and easier after the water dungeon (dungeon number 3). The few last didn't even take more then 30 minutes to run through and also 2 boss fights that work the same way only one was in the water and the other in the sky. I keep comparing every zelda game to the Link of the past game. Honestly since it went 3d the difficulty went downhill very fast

Megaton, to see what it would be like. But for somewhere nice to live, Sadiz in Battlefield: Bad Company 1. Without the mass bombings, terrorists and general crazy war, i'm sure it would like amazing in the summer ^^.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, it's the fictional (at least, i'm pretty sure it is) place that a hotel resort was being built on, in the final mission of BFBC1.

Ahahaha, looking back I just thought 'What the fuck is Sadiz?' and then was glad that I explained it to myself in the past.

Look, only silly billies who cannot see valid points (i.e. Global Warming's happening, and we're exacerbating it, stop getting offended by being branded a polluter, or: you can't help what governments do, just give up and focus on your own life) think I'm trolling by making up new arguments. I stick to one argument, and spend like 10 posts trying to make the other person understand the damn argument by repeating myself over and over, while they repeatedly say "nyeehhh, this is a dan brown novel, ya fool, the government is always conspiring to come to my house and drop bags of poo on my front step". Can you be smart enough to understand the following scentence?

"You can do nothing about governments, so stop trying to change them, stop caring about them, better yourself instead" It's not even a particularly unpleasant notion - your refusal to understand it, your determination to feel like Neo or something (fashionable, rebellious anti-establishment sexbomb?), is what's making this unpleasant.

You have a very defeatist attitude, don't you? "Don't fight the machine because you can't win." I'm sure that while that sounds extremely nice in your head, it just doesn't seem to work well in the real world.

Let me give you an example. In America, one of our most well known individuals is a man named "Martin Luther King Jr." He is probably the best known man who fought for civil liberties for blacks in the US. If he had had your out look on life then the amazing "I Have a Dream" speech never would have happened. Why? Because you can't change the government. It's something that exists within a vacuum and doesn't change. It simply is. However, he wasn't a panty-waste and, as such, decided to do something about his country. He fought for what he believed in and now, thanks to his marvelous struggles we now have a black man in the Oval office today. You think that would have happened if he simply "stoppped trying to change it?" You think that would have happened if he "stopped caring about it?"

Honestly, I can't understand how you got to the belief that the individual can't change anything when it's obvious all over the place. You really don't think the governments evolve or take on different stances based on individuals who either vote for or become public officials? Really? Because that shows a clear and obvious misunderstanding of what voting is supposed to even be about.

Still, all of this may end up meaning absolutely nothing to you. I know little to nothing about the government in Australia and, quite frankly, I don't really care enough to learn. Certainly not if the populace is so complacent as to believe that their efforts to change anything in it ultimately mean nothing.

Used to have a fairly cheap Trust Tablet, which was okay but had very little life in it compared to the Bamboo Fun. I Have only really had mine since Christmas but my god is it useful. I have only a couple of minor issues, though they are more to do with the artrage software that came with it. I would definitely recommend this tablet if you have used one before.

Since then have bought myself a Intuos4, which is really nice. Though I still have one of the same issues that I used to get. Which actually seems to be caused by Photoshop, rather than ArtRage

Annoying bossfights in GD... which seems odd now, considering I spend most of my time in OTD or FG...

KOTOR - made the stupid mistake of not quicksaving before final fight with Malak, incapacitated me when I needed to kill him about twice more... promptly smashed my head on the keyboard (for obvious reasons)

Wasn't that hard a fight as it happens... grenade, FL, run away & repeat =_=

Digression: at the opposite end (sure this has been done to death) are we agreed that AC2 effectively had an anti-boss fight?!

I Bought it for PC, I bought it cuz i was in a game drought and i wanted to see what the hype was about. Then i found out my computer needed a Dual-Core Proccessor... So i bought one about two or three weeks later but didnt install it until probably the fifth or sixth week...By then i was back into WoW after a year long break and playing Catacalysm. Once i got it installed i played Campaign and it was a bit interesting. After a while, though, i was wondering when the game ends, and after i beat the game i felt like there wasnt enough! I went back to WoW without going to multiplayer...

This was pretty much Exactly one year ago, it was a Poll asking if you played CoD Black Ops. In my opinion, it was a waste of $60, but it at least prompted me to buy a dual core processor.

In God of War 2, when you have that fight in the dark and you end up killing the spartan soldier from the beginning. And then afterward when Kratos sees his wife, but strangely that wasn't as bad.

Now, I signed up to the Escapist because I wanted your help with the list. You can suggest anything you want for any of the categories. The only restrictions are that I am fine with making suggestions of things you like, but I would rather it be something I have heard, that is well-known, or that is critically acclaimed. I would not like to see a bunch of fantasy novels that I've never heard of before. Also, no anime. Sorry, that's just not something I'm into.

Like God of War, I'd say it's more like Lament of Innocence, you know that 3D Castlevania game that had you hacking and slashing your way through hundreds of enemies with a flexible weapon, it was a lot like God of War in that regard too and came out two years before it. Also the like God of War thing doesn't really work for any game for one reason God of War wasn't original it was just a high point of the hack and slash genre, that was started by Double Dragon I believe, thats like stamping Half-life with a like Doom stamp.

Made an a response to a Zero Punctuation episode, which back then was the only thing I came to the site but soon found a fun and mostly tolerant community.
