The answer to the first one is "You will put me in jail for 6 years" At first it is a lie and they have to put him in jail for 6 years, but that would make the statement true and they would have to put him in jail for 3 years, but that would make it false! so in the end, they let him go free.

The only thing I can think of is rice. Small, white, round, light up a room by lifting the spirits of those around, and rice is the most eaten food in the world.

That's a stupid riddle, because of it's hypothetical nature in "if a rooster lays an egg". The fact that roosters don't normally lay eggs makes no difference, because the phrasing of the question suggests we should assume that this hypothetical rooster can. In real life, A rooster would have a lot of trouble getting to the roof of a barn in the first place, because they can't fly for shit. Is that the right answer too? To hell with this, rant over.
