Damn i'm in England so i'm fucked.

OT:Its not a bad idea for these to be built it would be better if the goverments would fund things like this just in case.
...I'm in England. Why does this mean we're doomed?
Because they aren't building any in England?
/Facepalm

Damn myself! I'm just so silly sometimes. Perhaps we could build some here?

How about when all the people stupid enough to believe this 2012 crap go inside there and seal themselves in, us intelligent people on the outside should find a way to keep them from opening it back up and getting out. The world could do with a few less stupid people, and if some of them want to lock themselves away, let's keep them locked away.

I want one of those built under my house.

It would be useful for the apocalypse.

No, not that 2012 apocalypse! The ZOMBIE apocalypse!

My mother and I have discussed that shit quite often when we talk on Facebook or on the phone. She's actually looking forward to it because it might mean a worldwide enlightenment. But looking strictly from a scientific standpoint, people who study on Mayan culture will tell you it's not the end of the world, but rather the end of the current solar cycle. December 21st, 2012 is the day the sun enters into it's next phase. The whole apocalypse shit is just more mainstream religious propaganda to get more followers, because in their minds, more followers = more money. And DON'T get me started on these fear-mongering conspiracy theorists who want to scare people into buying their insane babblings about lizard people from the planet Nibiru wanting to awaken the Antichrist to begin his reign of terror to create this world into what will essentially be a Orwellian dictatorship. Believe me, I could go for DAYS on that subject.

Still surprised that people believe an extinct civ prophecy.

Maybe they ran out of rock?

Actually, there are still full-blooded Mayans alive to this day. I remember going on a cruise and at one of the ports of call, I took a tour of some ancient Mayan ruins and the tour guide said his mother or grandmother was full-blooded Mayan and still spoke the Mayan language, refusing to speak Spanish.

Gah, Hate this 2012 nonsense, Its the end of its Known calendar not some biblical Apocalypse countdown...

Other than that they look good, but beige? oh thats going to get old fast.
Actually it was declared that "This age would end" on that date, and some people have been taking that to mean apocalypse for a long time now
Yeah exactly, it kinda says something about people assuming the calendar's 'next age' would be the apocalypse, when it's just as likely some kind of golden era of enlightenment and culture >.>

So this is one of those times it pays to be a plumber.

This seems like a pretty big insurance cost for a "just in case" scenario that is dwarfed by so many other more likely dangers.

I'm sick of all this 2012 BS... I mean, I wouldn't particularly mind if the world burned, but the entire 2012 nonsense is all completely made up. I can't believe anyone would waste so much money on something like this.
I can. If TV has taught me anything, it's that you can make a fortune selling useless crap to useless people.

On the topic: No Nuka Cola? No Pip-Boy? No deal.

So long as I get to play Mass Effect 3 before the fiery apocalypse, I could care less...

Seriously though, I'm not betting these actually work. I mean, these haven't been tested after all.

You guys might be safe in your bunker, but I'll be murdering Zombies and having the time of my life.
