I actually like it quite a lot.

I like Mass Effect 2's art too.

Then again... I have taste.

Eh, it's okay. It doesn't exactly blow me away, but it'd be enough to make me stop, pick it up and look at the back.

I was kinda hoping they'd go for something like

though.

Well, the original Mega Man had bad box art, and that was a classic. So, the moral of the article is, don't judge a game by its box art.

Hmm. This looks like a movie cover. And that's fine. Because as an educated consumer I'm not going to buy what could be a 60 dollar game based soley on how awesome the box cover looks. I mean even when I'm blind shopping I look at the back to learn what it is. This is a pretty shallow (and subjective) view on consumer art.

ughhhhh it's so ridiculously lame
the floaty heads attack again

I think just the title logo on a black background would have been better than this.

Yeah, I think they're trying to make it look like a movie poster.. I mean, I know it's got great acting-to-screen for a video game, but I don't think it should have won a film festival award.. why? because it's NOT A FILM! Gr..

Also it bothers me that for all this "motion capture" and "realistic" faces (that are pretty darn exact to how the actors look, when they showed a picture of "The Black Dahlia" she didn't look anything like she did in real life.

It's better than the GameStop "reserve this game" box art. It's just a picture of the lead all in shadow as he holds up his gun, very 007. It's eye catching, but not interesting enough to have a second glance at.
